Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2013

oh I wish we could go on holiday... too many people going on about their hols and I'm not going on one
We might be having a day trip to Blackpool though.
St Annes is much nicer for a day out, cleaner beach, mini golf (takes about an hour for a round) fairhaven lake, the prom is prettier and it's not as loud and busy as Blackpool
My next aim is to save up for our massive holiday in September and then for some home improvements.0 -
Everyone is doing so brilliantly. I was quite proud of myself until the gas bill arrived £this morning 711 wipes out everything I've paid sigh... xDebt Free by 2016

The catalogue is GONE! And in just two payments my loan will also be done.
However just worked it out and my total is less than £4100 altogether, I think it's more like £4000.
Should I decrease my total - because we're not paying off the sofas??? or shall I keep it on because I technically won't be debt free by Xmas, although I'll have paid everything I want off, bar the sofas!

Glad it's pay day tomorrow - fuel light came on this morning, and I have no money left!
Feel awfully blue today. My friend is trying to persuade me to move closer to home, and thinks the best way to do it is to make me home sick by telling me all the things I'm missing out on, and could be doing if I wasn't living miles away... Well it worked, I'm feeling really home sick! She's never lived away from home, so doesn't know how horrible home-sickness feels... I just want to eat lots and curl up in a ball and cry
Sorry for the moan, but haven't been able to talk about it all day (can't really tell colleagues you want to go home)!0 -
Aww minicooper. I lived away from home too and felt awful homesickness so I really feel for you. Although I do think that your friend needs to think a bit more before opening her mouth. Sorry to be harsh but does she realise how horrible it is to be homesick? I know she thinks she's doing you a favour but she's not.
Hope you feel better soon. And always come to us when you are feeling down. That's what we are here for xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Thanks starnac, it's odd how it's comforting to know people have been through it before... My friend's excited because she's leaving home for the first time, so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
I flew the nest ages ago, it's the distance I've flown now that I don't like! But I'll be ok after a day or two of chocolate coated self pity.0 -
Aww, don't be upset Minicooper. It is payday tomorrow
I have never lived away from home so do not know exactly how you feel but I know how much I would miss my friends and family if I did move away. Hope you feel happier soon xSPC9 #125 - £816.85

Oh no MiniCooper, hope you feel cheerier in the morning!
I'm on call, I am not watching GoTI am sad! Got called out twice just as I went to watch it, OH decided he wanted to go to sleep so I couldn't watch it. Am now tempted to watch the rubbish streaming version to spite him. AND there's no chocolate in the house! Oh well, at least I've done 5hrs overtime.

amr I like the sound of these home-made pizzas. I never have the patience to let the dough rise first, but it's a really good saving! Is it just flour and yeast, or is it a packet mix that you add yeast to?
Thanks minicooperIt would only be to update the spreadsheet but by then we could all just ignore the front page and update through posting but if everyone wants to keep the front page I might take you up on that! Sorry to hear you are feeling homesick, here are some big dodgy hugs for you :grouphug:
