we haven't bought a single pizza since i learned how to make pizza dough:rotfl: 1kg bag has made about 6 pizzas so not bad, the yeast is about £1 and salt/sugar etc we had in the cupboards anyway. and then the sauce was just a tin of tomatoes, tomato puree and some herbs! so all in all about £2 to make 6 pizzas, plus your toppings. used to spend about £6 on ASDA bought pizzas, £11 if we were buying from the takeaway!

Thanks Newlywed, it is baby number 3! :rotfl: Due some time in November so I'll be needing some maternity cover towards the end of this challenge! :o

Just let us know as soon as you need a bit of assistance! I'm happy to help if it doesn't coincide with moving jobs!

amr I like the sound of these home-made pizzas. I never have the patience to let the dough rise first, but it's a really good saving! Is it just flour and yeast, or is it a packet mix that you add yeast to?

amr after you mentioned secret eaters last weekend, I've been catching up on the series so far, and see what you mean about eye opener! Time to watch those portion sizes again, and turn the TV off when I'm eating!

A couple of items sold on ebay today so I have made another payment.

    Total now #11 - £5847.45 / £10,224 = 57.19%

2 more to be paid but for small amounts, but I will still pay that amount when they are paid for.

Nearly payday, I will be back on Tuesday to update on my end of April total which I expect to take me to just under 65% paid off :j

  • What a lot of lovely news to come back to after a couple of weeks away!

SpagBol, how very exciting! So pleased for you! Hopefully you'll feel less draggy soon, the second tri is just around the corner now.

hismissus, debt free! Surprise bonus! How lovely!

Roguey, good work on cancelling the paid-off card.

And everyone's doing so well. I'm very impressed.

My debt is still increasing, because I'm currently supporting my mother, which I can't do on my income. Hopefully this is temporary, but in the meantime I have nothing to report. When the dust settles I'll figure out what I want to do in terms of recording it all here. But for now, you're all very inspirational and helping me contain the disaster somewhat - at least I'm not adding to the debt through profligate spending, you know?
