I think I am going to burst!!!!!! Checked my bank account this morning to find work has paid me £800. Surely a mistake as payday was last week..but Hubby had a similar payment so when we got to work he checked with the Accounts Guy and IT'S A SURPRISE BONUS!!!!! He didn't thnk anyone would notice until he brought the letters round later.

It's enough to pay off the £716 left on my CC!!!!!!!!!!! I can become debt free today (apart from the trailing interest that'll be on my next CC statement) I could cry I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats FANTASTIC news! :j:j I'm so pleased for you :D

Right, I have a huge amount to report! You may have noticed that I've been a bit slack on here :o well, I've been going to bed early and drained of energy because I'm expecting again :) I am only 10 weeks, scan after the BH next week so not "official" yet but I thought I would come clean with you lovely lot to explain my lack of commenting on here :)

We are possibly mad given our debt but...the other good news is DH has got a new job with more money so that will cover my loss of salary on Mat leave and we can still pay off the debts about £1k per month. :j:j:j

So I am very sorry about being a bit crap on here! I have kept up with the spreadsheet so that's ready to upload but I feel so sick that I can't stay on the computer for long to chat it makes me feel queasy!

Have a lovely weekend all, lots of :money: fun :T

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Spagbol - thats lovely news! :D

    :j:jCongratulations SpagBol :j:j
  • As i have now cleared credit card no2, I have called the company and asked them to close it down. Just credit card no1 left to go, with £3699 to repay.

I've just finished working overtime for the day, was a busy one and have just updated my spreadsheet to work out the net pay. Roll on payday on Tuesday!

Well....been loitering for a while, mainly because very few of the numbers on here seem to come anywhere close to what we are dealing with -not a badge of honour. Am mortified.....but here goes:

Welcome Nursebaker, you WILL get there, I have faith :D There are others on here who have had big numbers, and watching them tumble each year is a great motivater for me and I am sure it will spur you on too xx
