    Me again!

Just been onto my account and paid off the remaining £713 on my CC.

I am now officially Debt Free:j (though apparently there will be a bit of trailing interest to pay next months but that'll just be a few pounds)

    So #012 £3092/£3092 100%

Congratulations his missus, that's fantastic news. I bet you're smiling like a smiley thing all day. :T

I'm so pleased for you, you've worked so hard and had the staying power since last year to see this through, it's great that a little surprise windfall has helped you to charge over the finish line.

    Well done.

Now........onwards to the the mortgage :j

I think I am going to burst!!!!!! Checked my bank account this morning to find work has paid me £800. Surely a mistake as payday was last week..but Hubby had a similar payment so when we got to work he checked with the Accounts Guy and IT'S A SURPRISE BONUS!!!!! He didn't thnk anyone would notice until he brought the letters round later.

It's enough to pay off the £716 left on my CC!!!!!!!!!!! I can become debt free today (apart from the trailing interest that'll be on my next CC statement) I could cry I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

    Congratulations!!!:T:T:T

So glad it's Friday! Only 4 days until pay day, which can't come fast enough! Managed to avoid taking money out of my savings pot to make it to the end of the month, which is something, but I still have the weekend to get through.

I'm off to the bank tomorrow to cancel my credit cards (I cut them up ages ago, but they won't close themselves!)

OH is down for a visit next weekend, and I've got a groupon for the dog races to give us a cheap night out. Will drag him for a swim and to play badminton (free for me) to keep that a cheap one! My OH has that standard man setting - have money, spend money, but I'm gradually training or out of him!
