  • Well....been loitering for a while, mainly because very few of the numbers on here seem to come anywhere close to what we are dealing with -not a badge of honour. Am mortified.....but here goes:

    £2800 / £75500 :(

Some of us have been at this challenge since November 2011 so don't feel too disheartened by your numbers, we had some fairly huge numbers back in 2011.

If you find your amount overwhelming you might just want to set an amount to pay off by Xmas 2013, something achievable so you don't lose hope, I'm sure no-one on here would mind you doing that...

Hmmm debt is going nowhere...business on the other hand seems to have done ok for the first month. Total spend £490, total takings £160. Going in the right direction at least.

Have just spent more money on some new stock, but it will allow me to diversify the ribbons I stock. More or less all the stock is listed on the website now, and I've just sorted out my Google+ account, which is meant to be really good for SEO. Does anyone want to google my little business and click the +1 button next to the link for me?

Have now given the OH my CC so I can't spend anymore money. This worked really, really well last time so I'm hoping it will again this time. Going to hit it with £500 each month until it's zapped then cancel it. Might be a slight hiccup when we go on holiday, but hoping that'll be ok.

Cat is currently sat on me recovering from being spayed yesterday, the other one has taken a liking to chasing her grr.

Remind me of the name Kerri and I will do it :D

    Hi,

    Pay Day - YAY :j:j
I'm here for my monthly update. I read every day, but don't really have much to add on a daily basis. Everyone seems to be doing so well! :D

I'm slowly plodding away at the savings pot to pay back my 0% card, but had an expensive month as we had to pay for 3 weeks childcare over easter. and we are busy decorating the kids rooms. DS's is done & as I've ebayed loads of furniture to offset the cost & I havent made our debt bigger. DD's room is next so that will be a challenge!

    #18 4377.93/5160.38 84.84%

I'm aiming for 95% in May and 100% in June :j Then I'm tackling the mortgage

    Ruth

    Well done Ruthy :T

Hi and Welcome NurseBaker, you are #172  As you can see from my sig I started last year with £58k of debt and our mortgage isn't pretty either  We are here for debts big and small but there are a few that were in the 50s last year and now in the 40s so this really does work. Have you visited the DFW page to do a SOA yet? It can be very helpful to see whether paying off is do-able with your income and outgoings. Well done for joining up and keep posting :)

I got a refund on a theatre ticket for a show that I changed my mind about today so I have made another payment.

    #11 - £5837.45 / £10,224 = 57.10%

My payments have started to slow down and are likely to get slower as I am running out of things to sell on ebay. Not completely run out so all is not lost yet :D

Only a few more days until payday :D
