Hi All

Well this is not off my official target of £2000, but I am quite proud that as of today my final loan payment came from my account

I will be updating at the end of each month with my total as I have now devised a sparkly new budget for myself. I am going to stick to this budget this time, as in the past I have ended up abandoning them for various reasons all of them wants rather than needs

So this year is the year of needs not wants, so with my new budget and target in mind I am setting of on a new frugal adventure :cool:

We are really bad at budgeting. Well actually, I think it's the food shop we go mental on. Definitely need to rein it in this year! I need to budget and STICK TO THE BUDGET! I'm going to start a spreadsheet with ESTIMATED / ACTUAL so I can see where we're going wrong!

I'm a long time lurker. I've got a huge amount of respect for all those who cleared such a whopping amount last year - wow. I'm hoping to straighten out my own finances this year so thought I'd go in at the deep end and try to tackle the £11K+ that's just kinda crept up out of nowhere.

Happy New Year oldies and newbies!

Today will be spent going to the cinema (and getting back the ticket money for my mum & sister!), eating at home (no popcorn/pic n mix!!) and starting to sort out the kitchen & spare room - I reckon I could have finished by next year! :P
