Its not fair is it, I didn't really eat anything from the Friday before Christmas to boxing day and I still put on 2lb at SW last night :eek:

I think I need to do SW again, I am heavier this christmas than last year, despite not eating much.

    Hi All

Well this is not off my official target of £2000, but I am quite proud that as of today my final loan payment came from my account :D

I will be updating at the end of each month with my total as I have now devised a sparkly new budget for myself. I am going to stick to this budget this time, as in the past I have ended up abandoning them for various reasons all of them wants rather than needs :o

So this year is the year of needs not wants, so with my new budget and target in mind I am setting of on a new frugal adventure

    Good luck everyone x

We are really bad at budgeting. Well actually, I think it's the food shop we go mental on. Definitely need to rein it in this year! I need to budget and STICK TO THE BUDGET! I'm going to start a spreadsheet with ESTIMATED / ACTUAL so I can see where we're going wrong!
  • I'm a long time lurker. I've got a huge amount of respect for all those who cleared such a whopping amount last year - wow. I'm hoping to straighten out my own finances this year so thought I'd go in at the deep end and try to tackle the £11K+ that's just kinda crept up out of nowhere.

So please can you put me down for a target of

    £11,800

    Many thanks!

Welcome! And the first step of posting instead of lurking is a huge one, so well done! :T

  • Happy New Year oldies and newbies! :D

Today will be spent going to the cinema (and getting back the ticket money for my mum & sister!), eating at home (no popcorn/pic n mix!!) and starting to sort out the kitchen & spare room - I reckon I could have finished by next year! :P
