Not a pain, I love all the updates :Tloubie_lou wrote: »Had a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad week. The client I look after says we don't "click" anymore and has asked me not to go back. So this means my income is going to drop quite a bit!:mad:
And I'm just getting going with my debt busting too, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Sorry to hear thatarmchairexpert wrote: »Payday later today, this is the pay that's supposed to come straight off the debts (and then we live off DH's salary, so that's the one that gets distributed around the accounts) - but this has been a brutal fortnight, so I've just calculated it's going to be only a couple of hundred this fortnight. Quarterly electricity bill, quarterly council rates, annual car service for me, my annual fee for my sport, my husband's term fees for his hobby and the girls' term fee for their gymnastics class were all due in this one fortnight. I'd saved for some of those, but this soon after Christmas I just couldn't build up the Big Bills fund enough.
I suppose I should/could cancel our hobbies, but DH's is the only expensive one, and it makes such an enormous difference to his happiness to have that to go to once a week. Mine is my only form of exercise. And I need somewhere to take the girls during the week when the weather's bad and let them run off steam, or we'll all go mad.
Anyway. Enough whining about self-inflicted spending! Loubie_lou, sorry about your client. SpagBol, the tax bill has to hurt. But all your plans are in place, and you did brilliantly last year (and have done brilliantly this year except getting hit with that extra) and it's the day-to-day money management that will ultimately make the difference. It feels uphill, but you'll get to the top, honestly.
Very impressed with all the ebayers. I really have to bite that bullet if I'm to have any spending money for this trip I'm taking in April to see my only brother get married.
Thanks so much armchairDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

The operation was a complete disaster got a new consultant who didn't have a clue and so the cyst that I went in to have removed is still there!! GO figure so at this rate may have to have another op!! Feeling very depressed!!
On the plus side not really spent any money so far so she be a good month on the debt busting front (hopefully). I have also found something that sells really well on fleabay I buy them for just over £1.20 and the last few have sold for around £8 plus p&p certainly going to order some more and sell them!!!
Hope everyone is well!! Keep debt busting everyone!!
Sorry to hear about the operation, have you spoken to the PALS department at the hospital? You could lodge a complaint and maybe get a better consultant. Well done on the buying and selling though :TDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
My little shop is live
Although I need to finish stocking it, I had until Wednesday 9am to put some photos on a website to take part in the online craft fair. I'm really hoping I make a few pennies from this

I need to add an additional postage option for small orders but I've not worked out how yet.
I buy so many different fabrics from over the pond that are gathering dust, that I thought I should try selling them online and from there the idea of selling ribbons and other bits started.
I don't officially open until the start of CraftFest on the 16th, so you've all got a sneak preview hehe.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Looking good Kerri. You must be really pleased with yourself. Just a little thing, could be me being blonde but I can't see how long a bit of ribbon is. I can see you have put the size of the fabric per unit.
