XSpender - have you thought about trying to sell them on fleabay? my workmate got £70 for his old iPhone before the 4s even came out!
    .

Hi I have had a quote from currys for £88 for the working one and £86 for the non working one and £120 for the working one somewhere else where I can take it in so don't have the worry of the post. I had a blackberry stolen on the way to mazooma once:mad:

I will have a look at eBay too. Thanks for the idea.

We had to go and buy a new vacuum this afternoon as our dyson has finally become unusable after nearly 10 years, 2 lots of parts and pinching bits off my mums old one. We knew which one we wanted and had done our homework regarding the cost as we knew it was on its last legs so had a quick trip to mr t. Got a cylinder type this time as my back aches after using the dyson due to the weight of it.

This spend is coming out of my emergency float as its there for big replacement costs and repairs. It will get topped back up to £500 next month or this month if DH wages is better than budgeted for.

I have arranged a meal out and another night out with my friends as I don't seem to be doing much social stuff on my own recently. I haven't seen them since before christmas:eek: this will come out of my personal spends. I will have to find something to wear too but am hoping a rummage in the wardrobe or a new top will suffice.

    Evening

7 of the 10 items which sold on ebay have been paid for so I have made another payment to my credit card. However, I won a pair of brand new French Sole ballet shoes for a bargainous £21 (should have been £130) so I paid for those out of some of todays earnings.

    Total for #11 - £2672.23/£10,224 = 26.14%

I listed some more things today. I have 42 items ending next weekend. Loads of them already have watchers too.

I will be back to update when the other 3 items are paid for, and then I will be making my monthly payments on Thursday.

Everyone is doing so well :T

I'm hoping that being back at work, time will go quicker... feel like I'm just ticking the days off at the moment until the next thing is paid off. Does anyone else feel like that?

Yes, I feel like that alllll the time! I cannot wait until I'm debt free, but then we'll be saving up for a house so I doubt it'll be much different. Well other than the fact the bank will be paying us money instead of the other way around ;)

I definitely feel like that these days - I can't wait for pay day now, I make my main payments on pay day and the day before. It's awful to say, but the months aren't going fast enough just now!
  • I'm going backwards! I put two tickets to F1 on my credit card for £716!! But that's £358 each so potentially not too bad. My SO got a letter off Vodaphone, well the debt collectors for his contract he had to let go into arrears because he was made redundant. He paid £100 off but they're still asking for the full amount, hmm. He's going to phone them tomorrow to set up a payment plan. March is going to be another tight month!!
