    Hi All

Mixed day for me. I am only making min DMP payments for a few months whilst I save up some dollar to pay off my credit cards out right:

    #4 £1031/£7126 :D

Bad part is that I was unsuccessful in getting into my favourite uni this year. Oh well better find a plan B! :(
    In debt no more!
  • Another £615 paid off my debt

    £1688/£7586

I think I might be able to make a declaration about my debt, which might do my head some favours :D All the payments have gone out this month, so whatever is left on the CC is now in the "dead zone"...as in not counted as being spendable :D

    So....
#005 616.78/£2900 21.23% :T:T:T off the starting blocks this year finally wooohoo

did you open or close something 1-2 months ago? mine went to 2/5 last month

I have closed 2 cards in the last few weeks but they haven't registered on the noddle thingy yet, still on there as open and last update was early feb. Does closing them mess up credit scores then  I thought I'd be ok as I still have 6 other cards and 2 bank accounts :o

Yes of course, you are #152  Don't worry about having to be DF by Christmas, I certainly won't be :rotfl: just keep updating and chipping away and I guarantee you will be in a better place by Christmas and on the way to being debt free :T

    Thank you for this
Hoping to be able to update by next week. Do my standard dd payments count or am I just counting extras?

It is entirely up to you how you count things on this challenge, some include all payments others just extras or a certain CC. I include all payments but ignore the interest until the end of the year as I find it more motivational to see what I have paid gross rather than net. Just work out how you think you would like to see your payments and go with it :)

    Well done Kerri :T

I am having a really down day today :( I think I find school holidays hard (especially just before payday) as I feel like I should be able to take the kids to the beach or the farm or whatever without worrying about the money and this always hits home in the holidays. We have been to the park a couple of times and I've just got them a film to watch on the telly for a few quid and some sweets but still I feel so miserable.

I am seriously tempted to crack open a bottle of wine but am on a diet too :( It's just too unfair, if I was destined to be this crap with money could I not at least have been THIN instead of rich?!?!?!:rotfl:

Just had a confirmed cashback total of £15.15 become payable so I've just claimed it:j

I have £299 in the bank at the moment, to last me until Wednesday  Just need £10 of petrol I would say and possibly some more electric. OH's mum wants to borrow £50 too (but that'll come out of OH's money) :T

I've seen some lovely houses recently come on the market. Be gone, debt :mad: I want to own a house! Instead of living in this gross, damp, smelly house.

I need a plan of action for my car. :S at the current rate I'm going it won't be paid off until 2017, I'd like to gone way before that though... I think I'm owing about £5.5k on it including interest etc. Once the other debts are out of the way, how should I tackle it? Suggestions welcome :D
