:j:j all creditors have agreed a settlement fee! and the two debts we thought were separate were actually classed as one :j:j

this means the settlement figure we proposed has been accepted for TWO debts not one, and thism eans we can paid off the 3rd debtor at the end of this month! we have just paid them £50 now to keep payment on track as the DMP has been cancelled so that makes our total:

    #032 £803 / £4400

    :j we are getting there!

at the end of this month we will have paid an extra £1134 to wipe the DMP completely! :T

This sounds great, well done :T

Phew, I've finally caught up with the updating and have sorted out the front page. Let me know if I've missed an update and your total is wrong and I'll change it on the spreadsheet :)

So we have been very busy here, Grandma's funeral was emotional but a lovely day and things feel like they are getting back to normal now.

MIL coming for lunch though so will be a bit  by later on!

What are you all up to today?

    Glad the funeral went well.

Today, we are (and I'm crying inside whilst saying it) going to see the Chuckle Brothers live. My kids (and hubby) think they are the funniest thing alive and they are *so* excited. I may die. Or chew off my own fingers. :undecided

  • Spagbol I'm glad the funeral went well.

R-O I didn't even know they were still going! But definitely funnier when I was a kid, not now I'm a grown up.

Well I downloaded a property app for some fun today, and spotted a really great place. My OH and I were about to max out our overdrafts for a deposit on the spot. Except I won't be moving there for a year, and my OH is applying for a job in a different city.... But I'm slightly confused about what other costs are involved in first time buying though. Ignoring that we'd need furniture to sleep on, can any of you give me an idea?

You'll need the relevant stamp duty, solicitors and conveyancing fees, removal costs potentially.

    How exciting!
