  • Hi everyone,

Well done to all those who have made payments!:T

No debt paying for me at the moment, but I'm really pleased that our offset mortgage completed yesterday.:rotfl: This means that there will be no more bits and bobs sitting in various savings accounts - I am tidying everything up and putting it into my offset savings - not that its much at the moment :o

It also means that I will be delaying payments as long as possible as my current account is included in the offset too, and all my debt is 0%

Its quite a motivator when you can see your mortgage balance every time you log in to online banking

:j:j Our settlement offer was accepted! :j:j

We're just waiting for the letter in the post to confirm it all then we will pay! :j

This leaves two debtors on the DMP (which will be properly cancelled!) with about £600 to pay.

Wow some massive payments! Well done everyone!

Spag, sorry to hear about the funeral.

Well i am still sitting at a big fat zero. Fingers crossed that should all change tomorrow ;) I read on another post somewhere about taking things 1% at a time so have got rather [STRIKE]crafty[/STRIKE] childlike and drawn myself a little debtfree table with 100 little boxes. It has little money doodles and is artfully done in felt tips :). Is it sad i'm looking forward to colouring it in?

Thanks Jonesy :) I love the idea of your 1% chart!

Right everyone...I'm back! I've updated the spreadsheet and will update the front page soon. Well done on all the payments and hope you have a good weekend
    DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
  • Hello Everyone!! :hello:
Paid an extra £100 to my catalogue yesterday and got a nice wee surprise when I checked my balance, I am £200 ahead of where I thought I was!! I've either not updated properly or some Buy Now Pay Later interest has come off as I cleared an item off. Either way I'm smiling!

I know I don't post often, but it's really good coming on here when your motivation starts to dip, and you are sick of being skint, it really picks you up!

Still living on £6 a day and hoping to have £100 left the day before payday, which would come in very handy. Living off homemade soup for lunch and using what we have in the freezer, so diet is improving too!

    So my total is:

OH called up CS. They said NW wasn't on their list. Erm, it was on the list of debtors on the balance sheet they sent AND they said some money had been paid! Idiots.

Now we're in a dilemma - our F&F settlement offer has been accepted. Next payment for DMP is Friday. Do we cut the DD off this week so it won't go out, and arrange a larger payment with the two remaining creditors, or do we pay the payment anyway and then pay the F&F settlement on top, which will result in paying £60 more than the settlement figure because of the DMP pamynet?
