Yes you are. Go get the felt-tips and draw that house missy!!! :D

I'm currently lying in the spare bed whilst the OH plays 'puter games with two !!!!! cats clawing away at the duvet because I dared to move....excellent game apparently. However, have saved myself £9.80 by not going climbing tonight as boy kitten got caught up in ribbon on Monday and because I dared to save the day he sunk his teeth into my thumb....ie. can't get climbing chalk into my wound :( boy kitten is fine though, thumb is healing :T:T:T Bought chips for tea instead so total saved about £4...eeking out the petrol to try to make it last until Saturday when next weeks pocket money can pay for it...if I don't drive anywhere this should be fine.

Come on payday I want to update!

:j I hope so! This house is making me miserable and the thought of getting out is the only thing that keeps me going.

Should hit over £800 paid by the time pay day comes.

Will see how much I need to whack down for insurance and if we've got enough left then we'll pay off OH's DMP. I just want it gone, oh and that'll take our total to just over 50%! :j

Mine has said 1/5 for as long as I've had it open. I have 7 accounts with 1 default on there that hasn't been updated since November even though it's been partially settled and all the others are green. I wouldn't get too hung up on what it says as all banks use their own credit scoring system.

The liklihood is that you're trying to clear your debt, so opening new credit accounts isn't on your agenda. If it is, then try with your own bank first, if your payments have been good then they will have in-house credit scoring which is different to the noddle one. For example when I moved house in August I racked up a £1k overdraft with my bank even though it's always shown 1/5, then I've been lowering it since, they seem to think I'm good even though noone else will have me. Also, my credit card company love increasing my limit and see me as a good payer as I have a direct debit and pay on time...but I doubt I could get another card if I tried.

You're doing really well :) Is there a reason why you can't do anything extra to make some money? Have you sold all but your soul on fleabay yet? Bras sell really well if you have any old ones ;) Does that dress you bought for that holiday ever been worn since? Do you have a craft hobby that you could try selling the bits you've slaved hours over making?
Oh and 50% is AWESOME :T:T:T

RE - Noddle. I think people alyways say to take the rating with a pinch of salt. I've got 4 credit accounts, 3 bank accounts and two phone contracts so my rating is 3/5, never missed a payment mind. Most of it will be gone soon minus 1 phone contract, 2 bank accounts and my car. :T

I am going to have a sort through all my clothes at the weekend. I've got to face the reality - I'm NEVER going to be a size 8 again......

I recently gave a load of stuff away to my sister and mum, probably could've got some money for it but nevermind :o

I did win a £50 voucher for an online clothes store this week so hoping to get a couple of bits and bobs for the wardrobe :D

Haven't got any crafty hobbies sadly! :(

Oooh defo stick clothes on fleabay, even if they go for 99p + postage that's 99p in your pocket and they will probably go for more. I almost cried when I tried a pair of L3vi's on the other day and they fit all the way up until I did the zip, my hips have grown and I just couldn't do it :( So in the pile they've gone :D

    I work out you're £10 away from 70% ;)

Yep - exciting stuff hey? :T

It's still going to be hard though, I need to average 430.00 per month until December.:(
  • Right so here's the deal, i've been a bit unrealistic with my debt total as i wasnt taking into account my loan for my car and id been using the CC since the start of the year as this and that kept cropping up so i finally sat down the other day and worked everything out to the last penny and applied for a loan to consolodate everything into one payment so my final total for EVERY bit of debt i have is £19k so i know for a fact i certainly wont be debt free by the end of 2013 thats for sure. Ill update my signature and pick away at my debt at a decent rate i hope in the chance that i can now be debt free by xmas 2014.

Missy don't worry if you don't make debt freedom by December 2013. A lot of us on here won't but the fact that we are proactively doing something about our debt is the main thing
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200
