Well the total may have gone up a bit due to a few unexpected bills, however at the end of this month I am particularly proud to announce....

Well guys really pleased with this and don't think I would have stuck to it if it wasn't for this thread so thanks everyone. Its just spurred meon for the next month. I have even managed to get some things done on the house which is a miracle. Im getting one of the bedrooms done this week so only one to go. Hoping that I can continue with the progress I have made but things may slow down a little due to the dreaded operation!! I am determined to try and find something to make that sells well, and doesn't involve me moving around too much!!! Keep up the fantastic work everyone woo hoo!!!!!!

    That's brilliant - well done! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Okay, managed to find 10 mins to catch up which wasn't so bad. DD1 was sick this morning so hasn't gone to nursery and she's driving me up the wall! She's better now, so don't know what it was :~ Trying to get loads of housework done, but it's not really happening.

Can I just say well done to everyone! £93k is an amazing amount of money to pay off in one month!

Also condolences to those who've lost love ones recently, hugs to you and your families xxx

  • Hi all,

Do you mind if I join?

With high possibility of redundancy at the end of this year we have decided to have a very, very quiet year and get rid of as much debt as possible.

Our target for 2013 is a optimistic £13528

Somehow in January we have managed to pay off £1022:T

I'm hoping this thread will keep me on track! :T

Massive hugs to those that need them *hugs*

My credit card statement has just come through and my interest is even more this month than it was last month!!! The OH now has my credit card and there will be absolutely no spending on it at all no way no way.

I did buy a second kitten to keep Leo company, she's called Chloe and here's the picture you've all been waiting for. They're providing us with much laughter and enjoyment, even if they did cost us 2/3 of our rent for the month!!!

I'm more of a dog person but they look really cute! I better than are enjoying each others company :D

That's the last of big payments being made against the debt...there's no way we could keep that up!! In February we are planning on making one further overpayment of less than £500, then each month after that it will be a fraction of what we have paid this month. Still on target...woohooooo
