been thinking about our debts. OH has a DMP. i'm wondering whether we should offer a reduced amount as a F&F settlement to get rid of it quicker? hmmm.
e: just had a talk with OH, the answer was sort of staring at us in the face!!! we are a couple with a plan ! watch this space...0 -
Sorry to hear of everyone's losses, it is so sad. January certainly does seem a time for it, there have been three of us in my team at work who have lost someone. I myself am going to the funeral of the father of my oldest friend. His death came completely out of the blue, so sudden and unexpected so I am finding it hard to get my head around it. Heaven knows how my friend, her mum and her sisters are feeling about it.
Just listed 6 weddingy items on ebay, really hoping these sell! Obviously because it would be money towards our debt, but also because we want our house back! Now our wedding is over and finished (we got married 11/12/12) we are sick of the sight of it all and want it gone lol.Co-op loan: £2672.38. £2886.64 / £5559.02

Massive hugs to those that need them *hugs*
My credit card statement has just come through and my interest is even more this month than it was last month!!! The OH now has my credit card and there will be absolutely no spending on it at all no way no way.
I did buy a second kitten to keep Leo company, she's called Chloe and here's the picture you've all been waiting for. They're providing us with much laughter and enjoyment, even if they did cost us 2/3 of our rent for the month!!!
I had a few things sell on fleabay yesterday and made about £6! As I explained to the OH this is £6 more than I had last weekI've relisted the other things that didn't sell in the hope that someone will buy them eventually.
I'm trying to sit down and work out a better way to do a budgeting spreadsheet at the moment. Does anyone have any advice about this? Do you use a template from somewhere? This month isn't looking as positive as last month because I'm going to have a lot of extra costs. I've still paid more than I ever did before to my credit cards (£653.66) so I'm on the right track.
