    Evening

Another couple of last weekend's ebay buyers have paid so I have paid another £120 off.

    Total for #11 now £1287.06/£10,224 = 12.59% :j

I relisted a few things which didn't sell so I will hopefully be able to pay some more off at the weekend.

    Cleaning!!!!

My house is clean and tidy, Some of my friend's houses I would like to have a good go at cleaning, but then they may expect me to do it more often. Others have cleaners, and I would still like to rush round with a duster.

I do however have a floordrobe becuase I have too many things to fit in my wardrobes, hence selling stuff on ebay!! :)

OH has been offered permanent, full time hours at his second job (currently does 3 nights a week). :j No doubt we will be having a chat about it when he gets hmoe. He doesn't like his first job very much (repetitive factory-type work) and the 2nd job is more of a supervisory role.
  • Need some advice living at the parents but got a house that I'm doing up. I have tgo pay board tothe parents, but also have ALL the bills and utilities to pay for at thehouse. With me having the op soon it means no extra income re: over time or second job and struggling with ideas for creative items to sell. The question is do I continuento do my house up which may meaqn putting some small amountson the credit card, the benfit would be in the long run I would save money e.g. board and reduce council tax bill and maintain my sanity or do I put the restoration on hold until I can return to work. Help don't know what to do any opinions would be welcome!!!

  • Sarah, is the restoration necessary in order to live in or rent out the house? Or is it a cosmetic makeover?

DH got paid from his current job today. I don't usually make repayments from that wage, since we try and live entirely on his salary and use mine to pay down debt, but we've been frugal enough this past month or so that there's a bit of slush in the spending account.

    So!

And now I really will stop updating my totals so often, sorry SpagBol!

Unfortunately the restoration is necessary to live in it.

Fantastic news! It's always good to have options and flattering to be offered a permanent job :T

I don't know really, I would probably carry on with the restoration if it is essential, however a) I am clearly crap with money and b) for your health would it be better to reduce the financial burden and stress for a while?
