    :T I like!

Thank you for the congratulations guys, it is lovely to know I'm (technically) debt free! I used to swear I would never get into debt, and it's been a dark cloud over my head for such a long time. After 18 months of watching the pennies, I've paid off over £6000, and more than half of that has been with the support of all you lovely folks! :T:T

I have an individual bottle of cava and an MnS triple layer carrot cake to celebrate tonight! And as soon as the cheque has cleared, Mr Bank is going to get a visit to remove my overdraft facility.

Oh we do the same job Ruby! Did we know this already? I've seen a couple of other BMSs on the board why are we all in debt? :rotfl:
No I didn't know you were a bums too! (what my other half calls it anyway!) I'm haem & transfusion how about you? And I don't know why we're all in debt but it seems like everyone in my lab is a total spend thrift so there are probably some I know lurking on here too :rotfl:

Ouch! The vet's bill hurt. Signed Tikka up for the vaccinations for life at £95, her vaccination cost £40 and Scrappy was diagnosed with dermatitis and has been prescribed hormone tablets for the next 3 weeks at £40 for tablets and consultation. Luckily he's already on the vaccinations for life package so I didn't need to pay for his booster. £176 in all - EEK!
Our cat is still recovering from a wound near his tail that started in October and turned into an abscess last weekend - all I can say is THANK GOODNESS he is insured (paid for by OH too so VERY mse! :money:) as we only had to pay £75 for him to be anaesthetised, cleaned up, stitched up and drugged up for the last week, and his check up yesterday and MORE tablets was a freebie under then same claim too - phew! January is so NOT the time for having poorly pets :(

    I need some advice:

How on earth do I celebrate this??

    #17 £3486/3486 = 100%

I had an unexpected pay day from HMRC today :j

    Wooohoooo!!! That's fantastic news minicooper.
    Well done :D

    YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Well done you!! :T:T

Bit early but :xmassign: I guess!! :D Now you keep on top of budgeting and try and remember how horrible being in debt was so you don't end up back there straight away (unlike some people) and enjoy being able to do what YOU want to do with your hard earned pennies!!

DH is popping the popcorn and we are about to sit and watch Hugo:j

Then pizza (BAAAAD SW day!) might do Davina DVD to counteract it. Also no booze so the pizza can sort of counteract the wine right? Got some salad bits so I'll only have a couple of slices.

My DGP got me £20 M&S vouchers so we got lots of treats and nice food (roast for £5, reduced salad bits, puddings etc) and are having a winter staycation this weekend at home :T Much better for the soul than buying a pair of trousers although I hope they don't mind :o
