I have no idea! We've got wired in ones too - they have a green light on them to show that they've got power and also have a backup battery each too. Maybe a wire has come loose or something?

Booked the weekly shop yesterday for Sunday, got mostly what I needed but somehow managed to spend £60?!?!?

Ouch! The vet's bill hurt. Signed Tikka up for the vaccinations for life at £95, her vaccination cost £40 and Scrappy was diagnosed with dermatitis and has been prescribed hormone tablets for the next 3 weeks at £40 for tablets and consultation. Luckily he's already on the vaccinations for life package so I didn't need to pay for his booster. £176 in all - EEK!

Although I don't post much on here, I really am loving everyone's posts! I just feel I don't have much to say!! I lead a v dull life really!

Oh, and jealous of those who have been paid, I have to wait until 28th sigh, feel like we haven't achieved anything this month!

Oh, and I was weak this week and succombed to the boots 75% off sale and stocked up for birthdays and Christmas. Not proud of spending, but it saves money in the longer term, and it was not on a credit card etc, so not all bad. Am I kidding myself here?!

Can I join the challenge please? I still have £566 to pay off my Very account (back in May it was £3500 so I have been doing everything I can to get it paid off) but I also had an emergency fund which has taken quite a hammering over the last few months with various bits, so I need to build it back up again to £1000, so my total to pay off before Christmas would be £1566.

Not sure, what do you mean by wired in? Ours are just screwed on the ceiling...The fire brigade used to do free checks I think, perhaps give them a call.
