Another one here waiting with baited breath for my payday on 22nd although the next DDs don't come out until the day after DH payday on the 1st:)

Our PPI cheque has cleared so I will move most of that in to the savings but I am going to change the way I am doing my savings so that I have one pot for easy access as we want to buy some blinds and also for emergencies and another pot (the ISA) for paying off the beast. This may change my total paid off figure so I will do an update sometime later today when I have moved the money about.

We are still waiting for the letter from DH work to advise what his new basic salary and bonus structure will be so I can't plan how much is going to go to the savings from next month really.

I am not posting much but I am really enjoying reading everyone's posts. Keep up the good work folks!

I'm really pleased for all those with paydays today...I'm guessing you had to go about 6 weeks between pays for most of you and it's been a tough old month.
We have about 1cm of snow in Cardiff where I am, and everyone has turned into weathermen...I know it's cold, I know it's snowing, I'm not leaving the house!!! I've become a bit like Mr Meldrew today :D
Hopefully will receive £50 from my sister on Monday so I can pay some more towards my debt, cannot wait until payday though as according to snowball it'll take me 9 months!!! to clear my debt!!! That's much longer than I would like.

kerri - I was quite lucky in that my payday wasn't affected by Christmas. We got paid as usual on 21st Dec so it's been a 4-weeker for me. I rember the days when I worked in school and we'd get paid as we broke for Xmas and then not get paid til end of Jan - that was always a tough month!
