  • I now what you mean!!!!we were in their earliar and you shuld have seen the cheak of sum of the peeple!we managed to get tones of soap and glory sets we took the lot. and then we got hold of the sanctuary stuff as well and we got about 8 gift sets and NO 7 and well i will post the list up in morning. But you shuld have seenthe greedy peeple who were tryin to get the lot. I tried too grab some David Beacham after shave but there was a greedy person who grabbed all nine bottles of it before we culd get to it and i just wish that peeple would be more thortful. instead of grabbin it all for thereselves.

But you said you took all the Soap & Glory sets?!
  • I would like to say after reading some of the posts that it is bloody pathetic if some of you are worried about 'Asians' getting your much needed Sanctuary sets etc.. 'Rivers of blood' has not been applied to Boots.com as far as I know. I went in to Derby store today, after work, limited stock, staff working their !!!!!! off, no race issues.

Well I must say my first boots sale experience was very pleasant. I went to a smaller boots just on the outside of chester. I got there for 915 and there was only 3 people looking. I got the ted baker vanity case, scarf and hat, 3xted baker handbag perfume with bath fizzes, a Betty and Walter purse. Only way is Essex perfume (not for me for niece!) be enchanted nail sets x 2. A small sanctuary set, a no 7 set in make up bag. No 17 eye shadow palette. Not bad for a first attempt. Thanks everyone I have been following this board avidly over the past 3 weeks.

Just to let you now you can retun items as I bought slippers and the diary set also but then took them back at lunch. Hope this help :)

    Thanks. :)

As I've ordered the diary set online, will I still be able to just take it back to my local store? If so, that would be fantastic.

There were about 50 of these in the main Ipswich store today. I bought one for myself as thought it was worth it for the day and night cream in there alone. And boy was it! I have just checked online and the day cream alone is being sold for £23!!! And I got the whole lot for £16.25!!!

Either incredibly poor grammar or you're a hypocrite

  • Just had a text to say that the items I ordered online this morning are being delivered tomorrow - all of them! Given the experiences other people have had, 'pleasantly surprised' doesn't begin to describe it...

Hope other people fare as well.

My local was sold out by lunchtime so I didn't get anything. Does anyone know if the higher end brands will get reduced more like origins & this works?

"There are offences given and there are not offences given but taken"....quote by Izaac Walton. Some food for thought for a few people on here today methinks!
