  • mkgirl1981 - If we don't know names we just puts the from bit in the card... and to so and so and family on outside or if we can't even get that far and its being hand delivered it's just "Merry Chirstmas" on the envelope lol

I've made Christmas Cake today :D and I think I've even finished wrapping all grans pressies for her yay!
My list of things to do is slowly getting shorter but I need to it move faster I need to be ready for Christmas by next Tues when I go house sitting as I won't be home then until Christmas eve :o!
I think my mums half come round to the tinsel free Christmas tree... she keeps asking where she can put the tinsel instead, I bet when I get home Christmas eve she will have moved it all onto the trees. Can't wait to get our tree now! Plan is to get all the decs down tomorrow ready for it.
I'm still in curl up and do nothing mood though, time of the month from hell, I am literally feeling sick all day every day its grim, though plus side at least its now while I'm still at home and have my own bed for comfort.
I'm going to make a new list of what I need to do I think :/

well ive had quite a wasted day- dd had a hospital appointment at 9am , great i thought as they never run on time we will be 1st in and done in 15 mins THINK AGAIN !!
she sees the consultant and the epilepsy nurse ,the consultant arrived at 9-05 the nurse at 9-15 . there was no apology and all they went on to talk about was why she wasn't at college which put her in a great mood.
We finally got out at almost 10am just had to go get a blood test but the 1st appointment is in 2 hrs at that point she was about to implode, so no blood test i will take her to the walk in center later in the week as no appointment is needed.

i hope you have all had a better day than me .

Well posting from my phone yesterday morning turned out to be a disaster didn't it. No excuse really just easier to see what I've written on the iPad. I'm sorry b_e_g for the Tom Daley moment. I'm glad DSs girlfriend was nice. And Feisty for requesting help from your Chinchillas rather than your lovely dogs.

Mrsinvisible thank you for the hobnailed boots, I think they've kept the pesky BD at bay today :) Oooh preparing the room ready for the China party :) I'm so envious, enjoy every minute. I'm pleased that you are managing to get some of the damage repaired and get your garden sorted xxx
Pigpen I imagined you sat, surrounded by wrapping paper, sticky tape and ribbons yesterday. How did it go? Sorry you are feeling yuk. Hope it soon passes xxx
Mrs M you do say the most beautiful things :) I hope something happened to make you smile too today. I just love your decorations xxx
Nic glad the landlord inspection went well, ignore her comment! Cheeky mare. When we were visiting DS they had an inspection, she did look in cupboards, under beds, in the oven, garage, garden and measured the Grass OMG I'd never seen anything like it. And it's every three months! So pleased you've done so well with your orders :) you do deserve too :) xxx
Fevertotell I've been decluttering (attempting) I went a bit crazy at first- became a bit manic. But I'm finding it really quite cathartic :) Slowly does it, baby steps and try not to put any unreasonable demands on your self. Your plans for the rest of the week sound very festive. Enjoy xxx
Mrs Christmas aww my lovely, I do hope you've found Christmas. If you cant find it, amidst all those fab decorations theres not much hope for the rest of us! xxx
Pinksteps ooh get you with a badge :) woo hoo. That photo of Teddy is going to look fab an a canvas. Have you had any joy from the hospital re DSs casts yet? Xxx
Choccymoose that sounds wonderful. The panto is in St Helen's (about 30 mins drive away) but we went last year and it was fab, so am looking forward to it on Sunday. And it's Peter Pan DGD2 loves it, it's also the theme for her birthday party on the 22nd :) xxx
Furball wow, that's gorgeous, that really is my kind of tree X
Pixtotts totally agree the Nativity is brill. Anybody seen the second one? Is it worth buying or will it be a let down ? X
Ruth Oooh Broadchurch was excellent, did you see the police lady (rubbish at names) on Johnathon Ross this week, she was very funny xxx
Mandco enjoy, your house full. You'll miss it when it's gone :( xxx
JJ what can I say? You crazy girl, I love it :) Now you really have gone the extra mile decorating yourself too, you could've just had a Christmas jumper or flashing earrings but no not our JJ Freespirit is so right. You really are our Festive Princess Im very envious of your letter from Santa :) no peeking xxx
Peppa I've just watched Gavin and Stacey again (courtesy of my wonderful festive lurker) I just love it. Watched Elf at lunchtime with DGD2 too, I've been spoilt today :) I've made a note of the recommended films to watch out for so thank you xxx
Linky storage is a blooming nightmare for me too, but there used to be two more people living here and all the claptrap that they had, think I just spread myself out! xxx

I'm worried about posting this now, and catching up with Linky and Pinksteps giddy pair. Who knows what they've been posting whilst I've been typing. Here goes xxx
