Nanamia: Not had a giant gammon from morrisons before but had the regular sized but tbh, a gammon is a gammon. I soak it, slow cook it in coke or ginger beer then roast it, there is not much that can go wrong.
Never had a bad tasting one yet.
But as it will have to feed 11 (including 4 men who like to eat) it's economical. OH will use whatever is left for lunches, stir fries, dinners, sandwiches as long as he can, he loves gammon. No waste.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

ok, I'll put this here cause I wont get slaughtered (I hope)
I have a little moral dilemma.
I ordered in August & received the new XBOX one. I got dance 2014 game & an extra controller at the same time.
It is a family gift that my son (6yo) would think was his. (me & oh put the money we would have spent on each other in the pot towards it)
DS has no idea what an xbox one is & doesn't know it is part of his gift.
Now my dilemma is that these things are being sold for 800+ quid on ebay & as I only paid 500 for the lot I have been told by a friend that I would be mad not to cash in.
I could sell it & then buy another one in January & DS would be none the wiser.
I suppose no one forces anyone to bid these silly prices on ebay but it's making me feel a bit. ick. nast, to do it.
I could certainly use an extra 3-400 quid for nothing but is it right?

SELL IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
If he was 16 it would be different, but he's 6. It not like all his mates are going to have one and he's going to be the odd one out.
ETA I can understand why it makes you feel uneasy, but as you said nobody makes people bid. Just think that you might be making another person happy at Christmas.0 -

Morning. I'm feeling totally bah humbug today. So much on. My landlady want to do he yearly house inspection on Monday. The main areas of the house are tidy, but so much has been neglected with me beavering away on orders. I don't know where to start.
I have a night out tonight, and can't be bothered. I wouldn't go. But it's my friends 40th, she would never forgive me if I didn't go. My OH I'd going too and he's not looking forward to it. Plus we are skint. I've decided to drive to keep costs down and so I'm feeling ok to tackle this house tomorrow.
I also need to get my tax return in by the 10th (yep left it to the very last minute) and I don't have all the info.
Plus some orders still to do.
I just want to relax and enjoy December, but I feel so moody with lots of little things niggljng.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up to date.....how come they are selling for so much on eBay?
Presumably they are all sold out everywhere else?
I don't see anything morally wrong with doing it, the laddie doesn't know you've got him it, and with the extra money you could afford to treat him and get him one in the January sales.
Make sure you put a reserve on it though!0 -

If you register to do your Tax return online you have until the summer to do it.
I also have no mojo at the minute. I can't see any decs going up at this rate. Everything seems like too much effort. ,0
