We have had tears and sorrys.

She even went to my room and bought the decks down.

So we have a mini wood. Less than last year, bet then we have less room.


Our advent counts down rather than up.





The light behind Feistys picture should be on but it's too bight for the camera.

Eta the 2 trees either side of the stag are mirrored. They reflect all the lights. You just can't see it in the picture.

OMO your decs are lovely. I think that we have peaked too early. We have our decs up now but I am still looking for my Christmas Cheer. I hope you are buying yourself something nice and putting it under the tree OMO it will keep you going on the big day.
Pixtotts love your cat. I miss my two. They lived till they wee 15 and 17. Duggie loved to bat off the baubles and run around the room with them. Oh happy days!

Awww, your cat is so cute, Pixtotts! Is her head tucked inside the box? Blossom 'helped' us change the bedding earlier. She just loves playing hammocks whenever we have a duvet/quilt/sheet out. Does anyone else's cat do this? She gets very excited and lies in the middle so we can lift her up and swing the sheet. Funny girl...

Arthur Christmas is on Sky Premier HD at 4:30pm. Haven't seen it yet, so will watch/record it.

Pigpen, you poor thing that must be so upsetting for you after all your hard work . Have your lovely reindeer topper somewhere secret where you can look at it when you need a festive pick me up. OMO - so glad things have settled a bit in your house, I think we sometimes build ourselves up to a Waltons-style Christmas and real life just isn't like that very often is it. I think your forest is fabulous and very Christmassy - all that painting with the stags was definitely worth the effort.

Pixtotts - if your Mum wants anyone to take the old handbags off her hands (ideally before she's checked them) I'm over here :rotfl:

And I bought myself a pair of Kickers this afternoon on Facebook from one of Dds friends. Worn once £25. They are sand in colour and are like new. Dd has tried them on but they are sadly to big for her. unlike my biker boot wellies.:mad:

Must go, Fingers Malone is here. He's already thrown the dogs water all over the kitchen floor. If I had known he was going to do that I wouldn't have bothered steaming it earlier. :rotfl:

Ruth_honey - Yep she managed to squeeze her head in too. Aaaww your cat sounds cute! I love cats ours have never done that though I think Pix would have a heart attack she's scared of everything

Now I've really just popped in to make you all super jealous... I'm off to a family friends house this evening for their annual Christmas carol evening, we go, eat yummy food, and drink mulled wine (and cider ) and sit around the fire and sing Christmassy songs always finishing with us all being given a cupcake with a topper in it representing one of the 12 days of Christmas and then we all sing our parts. I missed the first few years because of uni then my first one back I was like bleh not my thing I can't sing I don't want to go, but it is actually really really fun!
