ok, I'll put this here cause I wont get slaughtered (I hope)
I have a little moral dilemma.
I ordered in August & received the new XBOX one. I got dance 2014 game & an extra controller at the same time.
It is a family gift that my son (6yo) would think was his. (me & oh put the money we would have spent on each other in the pot towards it)
DS has no idea what an xbox one is & doesn't know it is part of his gift.
Now my dilemma is that these things are being sold for 800+ quid on ebay & as I only paid 500 for the lot I have been told by a friend that I would be mad not to cash in.
I could sell it & then buy another one in January & DS would be none the wiser.
I suppose no one forces anyone to bid these silly prices on ebay but it's making me feel a bit. ick. nast, to do it.
I could certainly use an extra 3-400 quid for nothing but is it right?
What would you do?
Just very quickly butting in with a note of caution if selling on ebay. PayPal are absolute nightmares for holding money that has come from a large single transaction. Plus there are a lot of unscrupulous sellers that will claim item never received and even if you have a signature PayPal will side with them and refund.
You would probably be fine, but I'd hate to see you down the money and console[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Freespirit I love the hot chocolate station.
All calm here, Robbie is in bed and the kids are in their rooms watching DVDs/ playing Playstation.
Hoping to go to the towns Christmas Market tomorrow. ( that makes it sound a lot better than it is :rotfl:)
It's a few stalls in the high street. After the tree fiasco I'm not expecting a lot. But it might help bring make my mojo. ( in my dreams :rotfl:)0 -

There was a choir singing christmas carols dressed in Victorian clothes outside my work Tuesday - I kept dragging all the staff outside to watch with me
They were so good but it was a shame they weren't here on a busier day as there weren't many people around on Tuesday0
