OMO, I am really really bored at work. I would much rather swap with you and be in bedlam with cute pets and in my own home....

OMO its like the plot of East enders happening in your corner of the world. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When an update on next door-

Dd phoned me today at work today and held the phone out. Next door were going at it hammer and tong.
She was shouting at her partner ' I could lose this house and you don't care, it's all the fault of that c*** next door'
    ( that would be me)
So I came home ready to face her and give her a mouthful, but she has stayed hidden indoors.
So maybe the fraud team have finally taken notice. Who knows.

Dd made me laugh. She said ' You won't believe it, not only is he claiming single parent benefit when he isn't a single parent but he is claiming poverty benefit as well'
When I asked her what she meant she said ' when next-door were shouting she told him to stop claiming poverty ! He just claims everything doesn't he !!! ' :rotfl:

Question guys - you know those Scandinavian style decorations - paper snowflakes and paper angels with flutes etc and the Scandinavian paper hearts like these? Do you know where to get them at a reasonable price. I don't have an ikea near me so can't check there. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=scandinavian+paper++hearst&id=67150080DF9715980C46BD724D46240EC13BFF21&FORM=IQFRBA

Guys I just got a text from my mate that apparently amazon are testing out unmanned drones to drop packages at customers addresses. Man, it would be weird to get your xmas shopping via a robot walking up to your door right?

naughtyspot your tree and decorations look beautiful.

    msgigglewick loving the elf photos

i am so pleased with DD3 she has helped me get exactly what DH wants for christmas. hes really into his fitness and excercising, last year he got a book and this year found out book 2 was out we he got it into his head he wanted that and another book BUT they were only available on kindle which he didnt want he wanted the proper paper version. could he find it anywhere. well apart from one person selling it on amazon for £2,000 no i havent put too many zeros on that it is seriously what they are asking, he thought hed tried everywhere but to no avail.
then DD3 rang me at the weekend to say shed found it on .com for a far more reasonable price than .co.uk were asking. best bit because the books were both sold by the same person through it (the publisher) they halved the postage so ive got them both ordered and just had the dispach email.
cant wait till christmas once he gets over the delight of having them he will be so worried i paid the 2K for them:rotfl:

been down the post office card to US has gone on its way as has one of my secret santa gifts

Junior J - have everything crossed for you, hope the problems with the shunt turn out to be much less than feared.

Wuvvies - feeling for you, Christmas always seems to magnify the sad parts of our lives, the people who we are missing etc., but hoping you and DS are able to enjoy the run up to Christmas.

Have been awol for a few days due to the death of laptop battery but now have replacement fitted and charged so have been busy reading missed posts. Apologies for not commenting on individual posts but despite my best efforts I keep forgetting who said what so big hugs to all that need them.

Had a fabulous weekend with DD2 and DGD - she's so gorgeous and I love her to bits. Went to our village Christmas Fayre on Sunday and had a great time - I even had my face painted as Rudolph lol.

DD1 gave birth to DGS2 in the early hours of Friday morning so the wait is over. He's so cute and the spitting image of DGS1 (who's almost two now) at the same age. Hope he sleeps more and cries less than DGS1 though - he's lovely now but he was a nightmare as a baby!

Hoping to put the Christmas decs up tomorrow but might wait until Thursday as feeling a bit rough with a cold at the moment and will be out on Weds for DD1's birthday.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
