Hey guys, I am abit of a newbee, posted a few times on the old chatter thread, but I always enjoy reading this thread,
nice to know people go through the same daily dilema's that I do, and I also thing this thread was one of the main reasons
I had of one nicest christmas' I can remember.
Congrats to OMO on the new arrival, I am sure it will make the next few christmas' alot more enjoyable than the last and
fingers crossed the troll goes away, doesnt sound very nice.
Freespirit66 - I hope you enjoy the time at home with your DD, I bet it was hard at xmas without her.
Keep up the good work all you new non smokers! think of all the christmas bits you can get with your smoking money.
Nanamia - that is great new about your DSiL, lets hope it is the start of good things to come.
msgigglewick - I love that knitted wedding cake, its fabulous, I would love to do something like that.
FiestyFidget - Please could I have more advice on this paper cuttting machine of yours, I would love to know where you got it
from etc, I did my gift tags at xmas in this style, obviously very simple and not as amazing as this! I really love this craft.
Pinkfluffy28 - congrats on giving up your job and doing what you really enjoy, I am very envious right now and would
love to be in your postition, hopefully working towards that stage in my life, although by the sounds of the OH, its not
happening for a long time.
Jo Jo P - I will be popping in Sainsburys' tomorrow to see if there is anything like that left.
OMO - it can be quite hurtful when people dont appreciate the gifts, I had a similar experience with some of the homemade
chocolates that I made for my family, apparently it was just too much effort and wasnt worth it! So I will be next to you
getting the half price socks!
Riskyb and OMO - I would love to have the blog and facebook sites that you do in a PM please, I would love to get involved
somehow, my New Years resolution is to start a blog etc.
Anyway rambled enough for now! Will be back on soon to update.0 -
Freespirit66, enjoy your pampering, it sounds wonderful!
I am so fed up. OH is up north seeing his daughter and I am struggling tonight alone, after spending almost two full weeks together with both of us off work. I always feel mad at him on the friday nights of the weekends he is away. I know it is ridiculous and irrational, and I know I love him for being a very decent and dedicated dad, but I always feel fed up and cross with the world on the Friday night. I then wake up feeling sunny on Saturday morning and the rest of the weekend is always fine, I just need to focus on that.
Don't feel sleepy either as I have been completely lazy today so sitting in bed watching Mamma Mia (:D) drinking a big mug of tea (oh the high life) and waiting to feel more sleepy.
Hope everyone is having a better Friday night than me! :rotfl:0 -
Aw hun, try to enjoy having some you time? I don't know if you're anything like me who quite likes her own company now and again, but might help to try and see it as taking the chance for a bit of that when OH is away?
I have the same comment for both FeistyFidget and Moneysavingmumofone, which is... The cheeky gits! Pffft!0 -
Oh aye, and if OMO/Risky still wanted blog post ideas - I wouldn't want to see yet more heart-shaped, red or pink things! Not sure what sort of direction you were after taking with it, but what about something like foods historically believed to be aphrodisiac or good for couples and yummy recipes involving them?0
