:rotfl: ALJA the place is full of Americans with proper cameras. Nobody will take the slightest bit of notice of you. I posted a pic of the big Santa at the entrance. I also took a pic of Dd with the Lego Santa and had to wait in a queue to do it .:rotfl:

fiesty they are beautiful for the time and effort you put in the price does seem fair but must admit I too couldn't really justify the price for something that I'll only use for a few wks but if money wasn't so much of an issue i'd def buy or maybe a more general theme(thinking stags in the wood type image would tempt me) that could be used all yr round? the trouble with hand made items is that the base costs & time involved mean they do cost more than mass produced products but not everyone can afford the extra its not they they don't want what you've made.is there anyway you can reduce your base costs? really hope they do sell as they are amazing

edit see you sold 2 so congrats
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

I may have already started working on stags in the wood, infact I'm thinking of doing a multi layered on with maybe two or three colours. And yes, I am offering white frames ;)

Aliaslotte your pamper hamper sounds fab, you've done so well (photos?) such a lot of love and thought has gone into it your OH will be delighted :) X

The cotton dressing gown is folded beneath the shower/hair gels and the slippers and bath massagers are not on the photograph, but there should be enough to keep him occupied. The little rubber duck cards are the gift tags I've made - so I can add little notes to certain things in there, hopefully to make him smile... The box I thought was sure to be big enough is a bit snug now though lol. Might have to keep my eyes peeled for another one or try to pack it Tetris style. :)

Freespirit I use the one in The Range. It comes in all colours and in Matt or Gloss.
I would suggest spraying it in matt first, then the final coat in gloss. Gloss is a lot less forgiven mistakes. So make it the colour you want with matt then you will only need one layer of gloss. Just remember to go slowly. One light layer then leave it. It is hard as you just want to get it finished, but if it's too thick it will run.
If you do get a run leave it, then lightly sand it down, before giving it another coat.

Oh brilliant thanks so much OMO will write The Range down so when i do get there next i can have a look, great advice :)
You little elves have been very busy!
I am after some advice from those that are as in love with Christmas as I am. I've made a Christmas motif luminary and the feedback on Facebook was great, until I told them a price. The materials alone cost just over £10 and they take almost 2 hours to make. Is £18.50 too much?

I have never seen these before FEISTY they are gorgeous, i would have thought these sort of things would sell well in your shop for that price, facebook, facebay etc people are just looking for something for nothing, they wouldnt even think how its handmade, how long it takes to make etc Good Luck :)
