Just to let folks know that amazon have lots of monster high stuff reduced. Some of The 13 wishes dolls are down to £12.00, the hair studio £8.77 and the nail studio £19.99.
Hope its useful to someone.
Well I am having a "pj" day today, full of cold (or judging by how much my joints actually hurt, the flu) and feeling rather sorry for myself _pale_It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

OMO, love your fruit bowl, can you remember where you got it from?:D
Can I ask you for your gingerbread recipe?0 -

Ha ha it's only because every year I face the same problem of what to buy people and this year I had enough
LO is due 28th January but nearly everyone has said to me they think she will be early (me included!!) so that was a big kick up the bum factor for me to get started early this year. I still feel very behind though. Luckily Christmas dinner is all sorted, were having a massive family one at my aunts, and because I'm currently still living with my parents we've all chipped in on cases of cheap wine, and some meat. Plus I agreed to do some baking and what not throughout December for my aunt as she always has people stopping by
Took 3 bags of soft toys to Argos today, so that's x2 £5 off vouchers for me to spend on toys nearer Christmas. And as long as I keep a note that will be a few less things to save for next year.

Can I ask you clever ladies for some ideas? I'm struggling to find some nice (and cheap) fluffy socks and foot cream for my mistle toes presents, so I've managed to get a cheap snowflake nail varnish from the cosmetics fairy and thought about doing a snowflake little hamper-thing for DDs teacher. Thought about getting that snowflake chocolate bar, get DD to make a snowflake Hama bead hanging decoration and maybe a snowflake Yankee candle sampler candle in a decorated candle holder (get DD to punch out snowflakes and modge podge them onto glass candle holder) do you think that's enough or can you suggest something else within the theme that's also cheap? Thank you!0

I got fluffy socks in the 99p store last year. ( I seem to get a lot of things in there.:rotfl:)
Another place to look is QD.0 -
omo I've looked in the 99p shop, Poumdland and Primani but couldn't find the ones I'm looking for (more Christmassy designs or plain red with a bit of glitter rather than pink stripey ones)
dunno what shop QD is, don't think we've got one of them down our way...

I think you are making the same mistake we all make on here.
It's to early, the shops are still in Halloween mode. Give it a couple of weeks and I'm sure there will be lots about.0
