Apparently you can use for chocolate or gingerbread. So I was going to attempt a gingerbread house with a chocolate roof maybe??0 -
Ruth_honey thanks for the list of Halloween films, will save those for future years! I think DH thinks i'm mad...
What a cute picture of your cat, glad to hear she's in the Christmas spirit too!
mrsinvisible I am very jealous of your trip to Scotland - I love it there!
OMO you've got a great line up of things coming up, I need to start organising some things like that to do! I haven't let myself listen to any Christmas music yet but I did play your link and enjoyed it. I have made a note to avoid that film - it should be against the law for any Christmas film to end badly!! Ordinarily i'm not always a fan of cheesy happy endings but they are a must in Christmas films!
choccymoose sorry to hear of your water leak and car break in, how frustrating. I hope you manage to get the leak sorted soon. We had our cars broken into in the last place we lived, very frustrating and there wasn't even anything in them to nick! I get upset when I think of how hard working we are and then these people just steal off of others to get money - so very wrong.
Nanamia good luck with the wallpaper and yay for getting to this point! When you've finished we've got a couple of walls to be papered if you don't mind - me and DH don't have a clue! :rotfl:
Hello Bambisbelle and welcome :santa2:0 -
Feisty I am so sorry to hear of yourloss, DH an I have lost a couple of Grandparents in the last coupleof years and it is a difficult thing to go through as there are always so manymemories, it must be even more difficult when it's unexpected. I'm also sorry tohear about DH's condition and how difficult that news must be for you. Lifethrows very unfair things at us sometimes that are upsetting and frustratingand leaves us wondering why it has happened to us, and even though there is norhyme or reason to it the old saying that it makes you stronger really istrue. You don't feel stronger at the time, you feel battered, but they way ittests our emotions does eventually make it easier for ourselves to deal withthings in the future. I do hope that this isn't completely the end of the linewith your hopes of having a family and that there may be other options outthere for you. I really hope your re-launch was successful for you, you reallydo deserve it after all of the hard work you have put in. xx

Well I haven't managed anything Christmassy yet this weekend (there's still time!) but DH and I had a lovely time in London yesterday. We went to Madame Tussauds and couldn't believe that an adult ticket cost £30!!! But never fear my MSE friends, we bought our tickets with Tesco clubcard vouchers beforehand! It was enjoyable going around all of the wax works (when people moved out of the way so you could actually see them!) but I wouldn't have paid £30 to go in. We then went to the Museum of London which was fantastic. The exhibitions were great and there was so much interesting stuff about the history of London, and best of all it is free admission! I would thoroughly recommend it, we spent hours in there. It's amazing really because Madame Tussauds was enjoyable, but the Museum of London was so much better and yet it was free compared to £30 per person!
We then went to Gordon Ramsey's Foxtrot Oscar for dinner as we'd bought a special offer on Time Out offers.
Sorry, I know as we're this close to Christmas non-Christmassy posts aren't always that interesting!0 -
