Thanks OMO - you really are a super star. I fondly remember the talk of your Christmas tree forest last year
"It's beginning to SOUND a lot like Christmas"
So after two frames smashed at the last craft fair I have decided that all the personalized paper cuts are going to be made into an album. In true MSE style I have whipped out the wedding photo album (only got round to sticking in two pages and then got bored) and am re-purposing it for my paper cuts. My magic machine is whirring away and I am hoping that the album will get people to actually look through it - if not my best sellers may not actually be seen, a bit daunting
And yes I realized I said I would be having the weekend off, but after panicking about lack of house deposit (and 8 months until the flat will be appraised) I have been spurred into action![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

HI guys, have not been on here for such a looooong time, had a really S***ty year with illness and work, but I am not going to dwell, but look forward.
Have started a book hamper for my dad, and got some good toy offers to put towards the girls xmas pile, but have really started to think about Xmas. Can't believe September is here already, I dislike September as girls go back to school and find the summer so much more relaxing, but I also loev September, autumn/winter are my fave seasons, love the crispness of the sir, the Xmas things in the shops, love winter clothes and boots.
MIL and FIL are coming for xmas this year, will be a trying time, but hopefully my stash of wine in the cooler will see me through. Am now going to make a better effort to pop in and read all your news and share xmas obsession.
Big hugs to all0 -
Just came across this free kindle book
Dear Santa, Are You For Real ?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dear-Santa-Are-Real-ebook/dp/B00AQ5DKN8/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1378057848&sr=1-2&keywords=P+a+milko
When ten year old Jacob Baker starts to question his belief in the Jolly 'ole elf known as Santa, an exchange of heartfelt letters between the two quickly erase all his doubt. "Dear Santa, Are You for Real?" is a playful short story brimming with candid questions and entertaining answers.
"Santa, I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions so that I can be as sure about you now as I was way back when I was little. You know it's easy to be sure of stuff when you don't wonder so hard about it. When you wonder too much all this extra stuff jumps in. Anyway, I think because I'm ten now, you know, double digits, well maybe the wonder in me is different somehow. Maybe it's working more - like overtime. Maybe it's growing up too."
When Santa quickly answers all of Jacob's questions using a wonderfully straightforward, yet amusing approach, Jacob in turn responds effortlessly with a full-fledged inquiry only a ten year old could construct:
How do you get around the whole world in just one night?
Do you really eat all those cookies and drink all that milk?
Santa, are there things that even you can't do?
Do you like dogs or cats better?
Could you do anything you wanted when you were a kid?
How old are you anyway?
How many reindeer do you have?
How long did it take you to grow your beard?
Santa, what would you like for Christmas?
Have you ever been chased out of a house by the family dog?
...and many more.
Lighthearted and Fun, "Dear Santa, Are you for Real?" is a modern day tale wrapped up in an age old question.0 -
