Hi all, I have been desperate to post on here lately but have been soooooo busy! I'm enjoying my job in the new department but that last couple of weeks have been manic - i've had so much to do! I enjoy being busy but the last couple of weeks were quite stressful as a lot needed to be done on very short deadlines. I've been trying to keep up reading but didn't have time to post, by the time I got home in the evening I was too tired to log on!
Anyway things seem to have settled down a bit now so hopefully i'll be able to join in more. I bought a couple of 150 recipe books in the John Lewis sale, so i'm now making a baking hamper and a curry hamper! Does anyone have any ideas on what I can put int he curry hamper?
I do hope you're all well, Feisty good luck with the new projects - they're fantastic! I do hope it all works out for you. You sound like you've got a lot of passion for what you do and that will get you far. In most cases I really believe that a business will only work if you've got a passion for it. I have been toying lately with the idea of setting up a local cupcake business, but I think i'm just being a scaredy cat at the moment! x0 -
Morning, welldone Fiesty, great news, good luck xx
I've been busy keeping the kids entertained. Thankfully the weather has been great. So they have been in the paddling pool nearly everyday. Then it's been the park and the beach. All cheap.
I have started taking Christmas orders on the fb page, it's so exciting getting to do them in July. I am doing new signs this year that say 'Christmas at the (insert surname) I have sold 10 already :j it's keeping me ticking over.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Sat in the car, listening to the rain on the roof, toddler snoozing in the back. WE've been out to a funday - or they have while I did research for a project. Feisty, good luck you have some beautiful things I don't doubt you'll do well.

It feels super Christmassy in here today! I wish I had the space to start wrapping, but I just know that the paper would get torn etc[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Ds bought a tank and 2 yellow belly turtles today. Me and dd were just in there with looking at them when he said
' that's enough now, can everyone please vacate my room, I have to get up in the morning !' :rotfl: very posh .
No surprises on the names. Raphael and Leonardo .
Next week he is getting Donatello and Michelangelo .
ETA I did suggest Bill and Ben, but apparently that is what small children call their goldfish. :rotfl:0 -

Just a quick one as I dont write on here often ( though I have a read through every day), tesco have got mens toiletry gifts including nivea and baylis & harding for as cheap as £1.25. Look really good too, and when I asked the shop assistant she explained it was left over fathers day stock. Sorry if its been mentioned already, just wanted everyone to have the opportunity to grab a bargain to top up the mens gifts for xmas. xx0

Just watching some of the QVC Christmas in July and feeling a little festive despite the weather! Kinda wish it was colder so I could have a hot chocolate and curl up0

Hello! I may have posted in here earlier in the year but it's been a crazy one so I haven't been able to catch up until now!
I'm also watching Christmas in July on QVC at the momentI've got a few toiletries gifts arriving in the post soon and have sorted out a box for my parents' Christmas hamper. Christmas cards and wrapping I'm fine for as I have plenty left over from previous years.
All I need to do now is keep an eye out for great gifts in the sales! Really don't want to be rushing at the last minute this year.
I have a couple of Christmassy scented candles under a table ready for wrapping time later on in the yearhope you're all doing well with your bits!
