I'm rather relieved I hate not being able to post it's like being told not to talk and then all you want to do is talk!0

Thank you for posting the boredom link OMO - very handy, though I haven't heard those words yet I know there are coming.
NIC, I'm liking the sign. You lot are such and inspiration, I so miss having the time to be physically crafty. The closest I get it sealing envelopes with wax seals - fun yes, but not as dazzling at the things you guys make.0 -
MrsInvisible, I'm so sorry to hear that0

Thank you all for the kind words, it means a lot having you all here, supporting each other.
It looks like the weather has broken, the rain is coming down in 50p size drops, and sounds like drumming on the roof. This is the rain I love, so I'm going out in the garden to get wet. (I know I'm mad, but even as a small child I have loved getting wet in windless rain).
Hoping the nibs will Skype today, they should be back from Canada, and then I need to go and collect parcels from M&S Sale at the local store.
Tomorrow I am looking after my friends dad, so that she and her mam can take her son to Blackpool for the day. Dad had a stroke some years ago and can't do things for himself, so her mam is restricted as to what she can go out for. I know how that feels, so I want to help if I can.
Now.... wellies? no, BARE TOES and off I go0 -
MrsInvisible I also have a love for the rain!
Has felt awful not being able to check in on everyoneThank goodness the site is back up! x

Sorry but your opening post was harsh. Maybe you should have worded it differently.
As a mother of a child with ASD, I will never have the relationship with him that you have with your child. Cherish it while you can.0 -
Evening everyone, ha i didnt think to even check if it was back before tonight, oh well got started on another book and have finally finished 50 shades trilogy.
MRSINVISIBLE the people on this thread have more in common than xmas, i too love the rain, after nearly 20 days of unbearable heat i said to the kids if it rains i am going to go out and dance in it, they laughed and said you are mad, so at 1.30am the other night it finally started to rain, i went straight out and just stood in it feeling the drops on my face, smelling that lovely smell you get when it first rains, so if you are mad im even madder :rotfl:i didnt dance because the decking is already in disrepair and i dont think it would have taken my weight :rotfl::rotfl:How lovely of you with all your troubles at the moment still help a friend, such a lovely thing to do
FEISTY how are you and DH?
MRSCULLEN oh i bet ED is having the time of her life, not long now is it until she goes to kenya, how quick has that come around? Well you can tell me what you wore and other people at the graduation seen as yours is septembermy DS isnt until November

Mrs Invisible I'm so sorry to hear about the old dog, he must have been heartbroken by your friend's passing. At least now they are together, and sad though it is, it is one less thing for you to have to think of, a dog is a huge responsibility. Hope that doesn't seem unsensitive, I hope you know where I'm coming from.
AFM - I had got a few great buys at the carboot yesterday. I very nearly didn't go, but glad I did! Got three jars suitable for my sweetie table at my wedding, a necklace, some toiletry packs (sealed!), a ladybird bracelet I'll make into a brooch for my friend who is having a ladybird themed hen party next month, and best of all at Fortnam and Mason Hamper for £5! Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet but it's beautiful!0
