Popped into Tescos today and saw this bag for life for 50p. Just had to get it.
It's 36cm square. Might be good for Movie Hampers.
I also got 2 under bed storage boxes to keep some camping gear in. I am sick of looking at it. It is going to go in the camper when we have striped it out and sealed it. But the weather didn't look good over the weekend so I am hoping to do it next weekend. (If it doesn't rain )
I have also made a Chuck Box that I am very proud of. Would take a pic but its under a the other camping stuff. And I am not touching it again until we move it out to the van. (Will take a pic then).
But this is the idea. ( mines a little bit smaller)

Evening everyone,

Morning,
been busy looking at new cars, and finally got one yesterday. I traded in my 7 seater Chrysler for a Peugeot 407. I do feel quite MSE though. I expected about £500 for my bus to trade in. But they offered me £1400! So that was a bonus. But I also only paid £1000 for it just under a year ago! So she made me £400 profit without even trying :j
I just need to get used to not having 7 seats. It was always handy when I had all the kids and could pick my sister and son up and all go places together. But this one costs £77 for 6 months to tax instead if £154 and it's a 1.6 instead of a huge 2.5 so will save in diesel.
OMO I love the idea of the chuck box. Would love to see yours once you have it out ready to use.
Must be lovely to have your DS home freespirit? X:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Haha you know when you have something that you know only one group of people will understand!?
Well I've just realised I have some people to give hampers to this year. Previously I didn't really have anybody, so this excites me! Only you lot will understand!
My partner usually just gives his brother and sister toiletry gift sets (I think this is really unimaginative and boring!) and his BIL and SIL usually get beer and bottle of Baileys. This year is the first we've lived together so the gifts will be from 'us' so I thought I could do them both hampers.
One of the couples is going through hard times financially, so I think I'll make a hamper of nice Christmas posh food, and give them it the week or so before. Will maybe make some homemade, and add some bought items too. Will look forward to getting ideas together with your help!!0 -
I love making hampers for Christmas but having done them the last few years I've come to realise that my family just aren't bothered about them! I wish someone would make me one though! Anyway, so this year they are getting bought stuff and will probably like it so much more - boo! Got quite a few bits in the sale so doing well already. Oh yes, the only handmade thing I'm making this year is a scrapbook for my cousins daughter, then I shall add to it each year as she lives in Scotland but always visits us for a few weeks every summer holiday, so I take piccies when we go for days out.Sealed Pot Challenge Member no. 048

I'll make them this year and will enjoy doing it - but if they aren't appreciated then they'll go back to getting generic bought smelly sets! Will cost much less and save me a lot of hassle! Every year I go to the effort of thinking of creative personal things to give to my friends, either home made or bought - and each year they give me a smelly set from Boots (know it's come from 3 for 2 offer) and that's it. I don't use a lot of those type of things, so mostly go to charity shops or are re-gifted somehow in a raffle etc.0

Hi all, just ordered some mugs that caught my eye, thought I'd do some "lovely cuppas" for the Mums at school who help me out.
http://m.houseoffraser.co.uk/Linea+Lovely+cuppa+mug/167368779,default,pd.html
I just need to get some tea/coffee and small chocs to go in them cello and pop a tag on with something like this.
When your day is feeling blue,
I'll tell you just what you should do.
Grab the kettle, fill it up,
Heat the water, pour a cup.
Kick your shoes off, rest a while,
Feel the clouds lift, start to smile.
Now the day is going fine,
Thanks to this small gift of mine.
It's lovely between the showers so hope the sun is shining for you & hugs to those who need them.

Hi all, just checking in again. Hope you're all doing well, I've come down with a bug so i'm not at work today.
Mrsinvisible i'm so sorry to hear about another loss, you are right he must have missed him dearly poor thing.
justb those "lovely cuppas" sound great! I did something similar for my parents at Christmas and I put in tea bags, individually wrapped biscuits and their favourite chocolate bar. Your poem is great - i'm sure they will go down a storm!
Thanks for the ideas for the Curry hamper freespirit - they're now on my list!
I'm similar to some of you as I love the rain. I'm really enjoying being cosy inside today whilst it's raining outside - there was a period earlier when the sun came out and it made me sad! I know i'm crazy! I do like the sun and enjoy being out on summer days, but I really do feel much more comfortable in the winter. Not just because of the temperature, I just generally feel happier in the autumn/winter, i'm not sure why!0 -
Poppygirl did you manage to find those candle holders you were looking for in the end? I had them at my wedding and said i'd let you know where I bought them - but I can't for the life of me find the confirmation of order email I got when I bought them and I didn't keep the paperwork that came through. I'm really sorry, I searched through all of my emails but I must have deleted it by mistake which is really unlike me. I bought them so long ago that I don't think i'd remember who it was now. I have 20 spare, so if you get stuck i'd be happy to send them to you if you just paid P&P. I used them at my wedding a bit like this:0
