Oh my word it's quiet on here this evening. Where are you all? Thanks for the link Msgigglewick I'm going to have a little peep
Sorry I've been MIA the last few days, I've been setting the alarm early each morning trying to get a bit extra done, I've been exhausted and not able to post come bed time! Still I must do better, I've been missing you all. Quick update on DH and Mondays appointments have persuaded diabetic team to allow DH to try and improve his bloods through diet and the medication he's already on (fingers crossed he can do it) before we have to go down the insulin route. He's got three months to turn it around. Tomorrow he's fitted with the heart monitor for the day and results on Monday for that! Poor thing, he's really had so much more than his fair share:( Still we will see what Monday brings. Unfortunately this all means he's almost uninsurable for our tripwill one company will insure for £1200, so we've had fun as you can imagine. Anyway the outcome is DS has included DH on his private plan in Oz which seems like the best option.
I've been trying to get sorted amidst all this! Did the lounge, from top to bottom so tick one room done:)
Kitchen is for tomorrow so will report back on any progress:)
Lots of last minute things done today including changing spending money so few more things ticked off my list
Looks almost doable nowxxx
Springdreams I've read the nappy thread too, I love it, I'd have loved to have a go at one but not managed it yet. Did however help DD host a baby shower a few weeks ago. (I will rephrase that I did the donkey work and she had fun!)
Ruth_honey your birthday sounded fabx
Trendy hiya darling how you doing? I'm glad you've another sick note but was hoping you'd get a 12 week one this time which would give you some breathing space. Keep popping in so we know you are okxxx
Feisty how did DH get on today? Hoping it went well for you both. Re the house move, I can only echo what other people have said. Do what is right for you two as a couple (and of course any darlings which may come along) but from my own experience I wouldn't want to be too far away from our specialist hospitals! We are so very very lucky here on that score xxx
Ameyturtle how are you feeling? I do hope you've made some improvements. Mouth ulcers are awful, the sort of pain that makes you so miserable so hope you have some relief from them very soon xxx
Msgigglewick how is DD4 feeling? That was a stroke of luck with the elf wasn't itHow is the wedding planning coming along?
Mrsinvisible I'm gutted I missed you posting! Sounds like you are having fun. I don't envy you saying goodbye next week:( Will be waving as we cross midair. Will catch up from Oz - Internet connection willingxxx

hi all, well the move is almost complete there's just a few boxes that i will get over this weekend, ive got an estate agent going to the house later to give a valuation [feeling very nervous for some reason !]
i had a strange encounter with studio cards , i rang and asked if they did a cash account as i want to pay for my goods as i order them they said no ,so sent me a book with a credit limit, i placed my order then got a letter yesterday saying i couldnt have a cr acc but i could have a cash acc ??? so i got what i wanted anyway .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Got a few more mugs as gifts from HoF, recommend their service, ordered Wednesday afternoon, and collected from store yesterday evening. Came to a bargain £8, even more so when I discovered a gift card for there in my purse!
Thanks to the Grabbit board, I have bought my niece a Kipling bag & purse for Christmas, she is 13 and will hopefully love them, scary that she is that old now, only seems like yesterday that she was born. That was an event in itself, I was on baby sitting duty for her brother and got the call at 6:20am, bear in mind I had at least 30 mins drive to get there and her mum had been told once her contractions were coming every 10 mins, the hospital wanted her in as she had to have an emergency CS with the oldest, so they wanted to keep an eye on her. Anyway, I am charging down the A2 and get a call to say that they were dropping the little fella next door as they couldn't wait any longer  Nieces records show time of arrival at hospital 6:50, time of delivery 6:53:eek:
Now got to think about the others:(A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Hello my little Christmas elves!!!
Sorry I don't get on much these days....the little man is keeping me very busy at the minute....(He was 3 months yesterday - where does the time go?) but I do keep checking in and reading up on all your chatterI just don't normally have time to post.
Just to let you all know (if you don't already) the Robertson's mincemeat is down to 20p a jar in Tesco again with really good dates on them.....I'm trying to resist the urge to stock up again as I've still got 5 jars (With June 2014 dates on them) left from when the price dropped last year and I bought 10 jars :O
Hope this helps someone!xxx

I gave birth to ds on the ambulance trolley in a corridor. When the first ambulance got to my house they said I was miscarrying, as they was no heartbeat. They took me to a A and E, where a nurse found a faint heartbeat. So into another ambulance I got to go across town to the old maternity hospital. They would not let anyone come with me incase it all went wrong on route. I never made it past reception. By the time everyone got there in the car it was all over and ds was already in high dependancy due to bring so early and I was having a cup of tea for the shock.0
