Oh my word Im away for a couple of days and you lot are so busy :)
It's not taken long to catch up and I do love it xxx

Firstly Linky woo hoo glad to have you back. And by gum have you been busy whilst you've been away! Do you think if I hid the iPad for a few days I could achieve all that? Nah not a chance. I love your lounge, that white furniture looks fab. I lovvvveee black and white, until very recently I had it in every room, but I've introduced a feature wall in the lounge and kitchen. I'm trying desperately to persuade DH that white laminate would look fab in our lounge- I've got no chance at all he's not even listening when I mention a new carpet but I will keep chipping away :) Im so glad to see you back :) xxx

I know you are away but hoping you've had a fabulous day :) xxx

Feel as tho I should set you straight Feisty and Jakesbakescakes DSiLs diary consists of a few notes each day she was in hospital, some funny things that happened, photos of her girls asleep in the ICU waiting room, inspirational things the drs and nurses treating her said. It's no great shakes just the things she missed that she'd have liked if she was awake:) Nice memories for her now thankfully :) xxx
Mojoworking I get weeks like that when I find nothing, just keep your eyes peeled each time you are out. I picked up a few Lynx deodorants today, not exciting but for DH and Son in Laws stocking on offer in tesco.
Trendy bless you sweetheart panic attacks are awful:( Im glad you've been signed off for a little longer but to be honest was thinking about a four week note not a two! I remember stressing a week before the note ended so that doesn't give you much time to relax. Please try to look after yourself :) And well done with your knitting, go you xxx
Sugarspun wooo hooo a prince :) congratulations. And next time around you will defo be mse cos you'll have blue and pink in the loft:) Both mine DS and DD gave me great pleasure I feel very blessed to have one of each. X
jakesbakescakes well done on the money making been watching your signature , go girl :) xxx
Freespirit I think at this moment in time I'd give my right arm to have my DS home for a couple of hours :) I'm glad you enjoyed his hiccup. He must be almost finished for the year now is he? I remember DD not having very long after Easter xxx

Mrsinvisible How was the swimming? Is DGS back in school next week? Ooh you must be looking forward to your trip to China, how many days? Think I'm on 74 now, but I'm 27th June :) I know what you mean helping with the flights, DS is flying us out this time otherwise we'd have never been able to go!
Freespirit you are good, you must have a right "wish list" of places to visit :) Im rubbish at geography and anything cultured! Strangely I've never had the urge to travel etc I'd be happy to see parts of the UK I've not seen :)
04624181 you poor thing you must be in agony :( can't help with the opinion thingies but somebody will be along soon who can :)
BBTHREE oh my word you poor poor thing, lets hope you are sorted now :) keep taking the morphine! Hope they let you out tomorrow and you can recover at home. Make sure you have those feet up I will be checking :) xxx

Well Freespirit you were right, I'd only gone and burnt myself out AGAIN, when will I learn? BFF came on Wednesday warned me too, your doing too much, take some time for you etc etc any way did I listen oh no I give advice I don't take it!!!! Spent Thursday in bed:( or on the sofa:( no use to anybody :( feeling much better today but am now promising to listen. Friend coming out of hospital in the morning which is good news only three more radiotherapy sessions then that's her treatment done :)

    Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker on here but I can't resist, can I join you?
I'm seriously into crocheting at the moment but I'm not very good. We are also expecting another grandchild in October so have lots of ideas for makes for him or her.
I started my Christmas box yesterday. A Christmas candle for 1.50 from the charity shop:o but at least it's a start.
Looking forward to getting to know you all. Sorry I've forgotten names already but love the lounge pics, very much like my sons house in Australia.:D

Welcome Julie :) We are a friendly bunch!

Have had a Eureka MSE moment! There are a few pressies that haven't been bought yet - I am letting the recipients inspire items for the shop, making them, photographing the present, listing it in the shop and then giving the gift :) Also helps to save on photo items mounting up ;)

Have just made this one for a friends birthday today - only expense was the frame - but it has taken the best part of a day to do :)
