Thank you for the Lamaze robot tip - have just bought one for the baby. I think his Christmas is sorted now - I will wash the Learn and Groove (probably smells a bit basementy), fill a stocking with 3-6M clothing and baby shampoo etc, and he now has three other toys. I think that's plenty for a small baby.
If he's especially lucky, I might even attempt to swap the pink Bumbo for a different coloured one.

HELLO :hello:
I am back ! Have not read back as I have missed pages. Hope everyone is well.
Dd spilt a cup of tea on the laptop.
I have got loads done. Just before tea-gate I watched a woman on youtube talk about having to move from a 4 bed house to an RV, and how she downsized everything. Well I took the bull by the horns and got rid of loads of stuff. And I mean loads. We have new lounge furniture that I got in Ikea. I will take some pics over the weekend. It is amazing how stuff you just keep for the sake of it.
All our DVDs and Cds are now in folders instead of the cases they came in. They now take up one small cupboard. I went through my Country Living/House and Home magazines (had over 100) and cut out the articles I wanted to keep. thats 2 shelves down to one folder.( And I can now find what i am looking for !)
I have given all my books away and made a note of authors I like. I am going to buy a book a month on the kindle. ( I have finally got the app working on my tablet):j .
All the kitchen cupboards (bar under the sink:o) have been sorted. We had 3 cheese graters, and only dd eats cheese.:rotfl:
Now for the sad news.:(
We have had to cancel our holiday. We got a letter from dds school saying they had got some exam dates wrong, and she has a History exam the week we booked.
The following week is Ds' birthday, the week after that is dds prom, and then she is 16. So I could not use the half price offers.
So we are going to leave it this year, do all our shopping on TCB, get more tesco points and go next year instead.0 -
