Thanks for the link, I've just bought one for my god daughter, she loves Hello Kitty.

I popped into "What" and bought some small sented candles for £1, small painting by numbers set and some novelty erasers. I'm going to do some filled pencil cases for all the school age children I need to buy for so I'm picking up packs of coloured pencils etc throughout the year when they are on offer.

I am so envious of all your bargain hunts! I haven't bought anything Christmas related since January, seem to have lost my mojo :(

    Hiya peeps :)
I just noticed this Lamaze robot has been reduced to less than half price. I have brought one for Franklin for now lol as he loves these and it has teething rings on it so great for now.
It might suit someone for Christmas though! I can't recommend them highly enough.
    £11.99 reduced to £5.59

Hi everyone, oh i had my DS home for 2 hours :) it was lovely seeing him, he has grown up so much being at uni, and each time he comes home he is more and more of a man it makes me smile so much, he is coming home for a few days towards the end of the month and i cant blooming wait. :) He thinks i am nuts when he walked in i was wrapping a xmas pressie :rotfl:
NANAMIA i am not surprised you feel burnt out you busy bee, but please take some time out for yourself, we dont want you making yourself ill, now you have a date to focus on you can think of that when you are thinking of your DS and missing him because it will come round so quick you will be in Oz before you know it. What a lovely day you had shopping with DGD, how lovely asking your DSIL back to boost morale :T you must be so proud. How was your friends spirits today, any better?
MOJOWORKING mmm i would have the yankee candle lit within 5 mins of walking through the door :) there was only 3 of us at xmas last year and i was really worried they wouldnt enjoy it, but we drank cocktails before dinner what they put in them i do not know, then after dinner we played games which i bought when they were half price and we just laughed and laughed although i missed DD1 like mad we had a lovely day hth, btw i think all the cheap shops and charity shops are taking advantage by hyping prices knowing people are shopping in these shops more
SUGARSPUN that is wonderful news :)

    Hi Xmas chums

Well....I might get to finally catch up on his thread after all, as I am currently in a surgical ward of local hospital where my appendix is going to be removed tomorrow. Got admitted with stomach pains early hours of yesterday and thought I was finally going to be rid of my gall bladder, but it turns out its my appendix that's playing silly beggars.

Nanamia - great news about sil.

Just a nice picture of the baby in a cheap frame? Have to say though - we get these every year and at first I felt obliged to keep adding them to the shelf but now I keep the latest one up and pop the other pictures in the album and recycle/re-gift the frame.No-one has mentioned anything when they visit but I couldn't possibly have kept them all up, they soon mount up!!

Ha ha ha........that's a feeling I know well Caitlyn - we love the little ones to bits but our living room was starting to look a bit like a shrine lol :D Now I do the same as you and am selective about what stays on display.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
