Welcome back gettingtherequickly have you been on your hols? Good to see you back.
Ah shucks:o, been really busy workwise and with other committments, I also volunteer with the Homicide team at Victim Support and sadly have a new client, so that has been taking up a bit of my time. While the circumstances are difficult, once the client feels comfortable, I usually enjoy it, mainly because I tell them that they can say whatever they like, scream, swear, whatever, I won't be offended as I know it is not aimed at me.
And, I hate to say this, I did go on hols, 10 days in a gloriously hot Jordan:D Bu my god, did we get a bit of a shock when we arrived back, worst temp away was 25, generally it was low to mid 30's, no wonder I have now got the lurgy:(A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Freespirit, I loved your baking photos! I found them inspirational to whip up vegan versions
I seem to be suffering with a really bad dizzy thing. It is so back that if I roll over in my sleep the dizziness is so severe it wakes me up. I have had dizzy spells before, but nothing on this scale. It feels like my brain is a couple of seconds behind my body - I will move and then it feels like my brain is slowly catching up - very horrid sensation
Still no news for DH - I phoned last week to chase up his op, but no date yet.
Nana I am so glad your GD loves her bedroom, it was gorgeous! x[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

I love the brownies! is there a link for the recipe? morning, all . A good nights sleep--- SIX HOURS unheard of whoop, whoop. Still in bed as I type but have to get cracking soon.
This week has just vanished, and I have achieved so little, but at least I visited relies and got dgs a treat day out. Don't have any plans for today, but would like to go to the outlet village in Gretna, but it is 35 miles away, so petrol costs need to be factored in.
Oh forgot, yesterday afternoon went into store21 (or is that its old name?) they had a whole rail of woollies reduced by 75% so I managed to get some pressies for dd and dil and bff as well as a treat for me. I had looked at a cardigan in Debs at 30 quid but got 9 yes 9 items for that amount . Christmas cupboard wont close now. Off to get caffeine fix Have a lovely day, all xxx0 -

Saw Petra & Amman, Jerash, Dead Sea and other places, strangely were told by the Jordanians that Aqaba wasn't worth visiting really! Petra was stunning, although the entrance fee was one of the few things we felt was a rip off.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
One of those days when want to climb back under the duvet x car won't start think it battery !!0

Oh Jenny
Do you have a battery charger at all? Or a breakdown cover with homestart? My FIL came round when our car broke down and got the AA out on his policy, perhaps that could be an option for you?
Am very chuffed with my latest make - some cute blackboard labels that you can peel off and stick to things, then write on them contents etc. After accidentally using icing sugar on my pizza (we have two identical shakers) back in January, I made these up with my cutter, but have only just gotten round to properly photographing them to put in the store
Also my laptop has been declared a write off - they have agreed to send me vouchers in the post and after checking with them, it looks like I can get a professional printerThe knowhow rep told me that they should be used to purchase another laptop, but as it was still a computer related purchase, I 'should' be fine
She thought I was mad wanting to use them for a printer, she told me that I wouldn't be able to get any of the under-value voucher back. Little does she know, that the printer I want is almost £400! I will have to put a wee bit of money towards it, but it will enable me to expand the business into invitations etc - very excited
