Evening all!
First things first don't panic OMO/Linky is fine she text me on my birthday to say she is still having abit of trouble with her tummy, but her computer died and is in the shop at minute.
So my Birthday was abit of a nightmare! We were going to go to Ipswich shopping but we'd seen the weather a couple of days before and it was going to be cold and windy not ideal for me, so we postponed and instead just did our Thursday chores, which includes our shopping, it was the day from hell, so it snowed on my birthday! And the children are on half term so everything took twice as long and there was even twice as much traffic we didn't need alot of shopping we popped into home bargains, sainsburys, aldi, a charity shop. We left the house at 10 maybe 11 we didn't get home til 4, sainsburys after being told which item on mums prescription we needed urgently then didn't have it in and someone jumped the queue in front of me before she told me she didn't have so I still have to go back out and get it. So pleased we are switching to boots for our prescriptions sainsburys makes me :mad::mad::mad::mad:
So we are going to try for shopping on monday instead, This as has taken me so long to type caus my keyboard is still doing that double typing thing.0 -

Evening, it has been lovely today 12 degrees, we took the dog for a walk round the Roman Wall and sat and had a packed lunch and flask of coffee, it was so nice to be out and in the sunshine, i think everyone was making the most of the weather as i have never seen it that busy before. I will try and copy and paste recipe for Creme Egg Brownies for those who asked:
CREME EGG BROWNIES
185g Unsalted Butter
185g Dark Chocolate
85g Plain Flour
40g Cocoa Powder
3 Large Eggs
275g Golden Caster Sugar
6 Cadbury’s Crème Eggs cut in half.
Preheat the oven to 160C and grease a 20 cm square baking tin.
Melt the butter and dark chocolate together either in the microwave or in abowl over boiling water.
Put 3 large eggs into a large bowl and add the 275g of golden caster sugar.Whisk the eggs and sugar using an electric mixer (max speed)until they look thickand creamy.
Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the egg/sugar mixture, and then gentlyfold together.
Then you need to weigh out the cocoa/flour and sift the cocoa and flour mixtureover the chocolate/butter/egg/sugar mixture and gently fold.
Pour into the baking tin and cook for 15 minutes then take out of the oven andgently press the cadburys crème egg halves into the mix, spacing them apartevenly. Put back in the oven for another 5-10 minutes.
Leave to cool before removing from tin and cutting into squares.
