FeistyFidget-I dont really have any CDs lol. I can only think of 3 we have in the car! OH used to have a whole wardrobe full but over the years they've all disappeared/been thrown away! Luckily my brother has come to my rescue and lent me the money! I actually needed about £100 in the end because we needed petrol and food (including party food) today too, couldnt wait for the ebay buyers to pay so luckily car tax, petrol and food are sorted!
Trendyjenny-Im sure your OH wouldnt mind, I think it would do you good to help your friend and have a bit of a breather.Im pretty sure I saw easter eggs for £1 still in Asda a few days ago.
Im going to start my chocolate slabs today, I hope they stay fresh until Saturday.Only have 1 silicone tray so have to start today, think Ill be non stop melting chocolate until Friday night. :rotfl:

The total is at £73 on ebay at the moment but thats mainly because I had 2 collectable(ish) items (one of which my uncle gave me to sell but I get to keep the money.
) and I dont think those items will go up before they end. (judging by previous completed listings) I have 4 things with bids on and 16 without, hoping for a bidding frenzy before they end lol!
MONEYSAVINGMUMOFONE Oh my god are we not related :rotfl:i do exactly the same i make my DD1 go to the door and if she arranges times when i am on my own i go into panic and have to just sit and wait for them, literally cant do anything else, my heart is in my mouth, what are we like???? NANAMIA Glad you had a lovely day yesterday with your DSIL and your friend, like you say it is the little things that worry you most when you arent well, hope your friends treatment is working for her, and your DSIL probably helped you after the week you have had x
Today i feel drained, not my depression or illness but this incessant insomnia is back, whatever time i go to bed i am still awake til 3, 4, 5am. Then i dont wake up until 11, 12 and i feel shattered, can hardly get out of bed let alone do anything, i wanted my easter table all decorated ready today, and the cleaning finished grrrr! I used to be the kind that my head hit the pillow and i was out like a light so this is even more grating. Have any of you lovelies got any tips???#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -

Ive sold something today on facebook (only £2 but every little helps as you said!) and have arranged it so OH will be here when she comes!! Also the same with the insomnia, I just sit up most nights until silly o clock now as I know I wont be able to sleep anyway so no tips Im afraid but I know what its like. xxx

Nanamia, thank you but you mustn't worry about me, it's just the way I am, always worrying about something!
Freespirit - I'm afraid I can relate but haven't got any helpful tips! If I ever find the secret I promise to share!Hobnobs are like marines0 -
Oh dear, so sorry to hear the insomnia is back
The only tip I can think of is to not stay in the bed, get up and do something proactive. DH sets up bed on the sofa and then watches the most boring, dire programme he can find on the TV - usually works
Argh have spent the last 10 hours sat at the computer working and am feeling as frustrated as when I started. I spent all afternoon designing and then making save the date cards and now they are done I hate themThey just seem too plain and boring! Any suggestions lovelies?
I'm thinking that making them into postcards with rounded edges in a lovely craft card would be better, but I have none of that in stock and worry that I'll order it and then hate it just the same[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Feisty you are too hard on yourself, I absolutely love all of them. Seriously, I saw the moustache one first and was highly amused, then noticed the ones behind it with both mouths and thought it was such a good idea and I just love the two people holding a heart. They are so perfect just as they are xxHobnobs are like marines0 -
FEISTY Thanks for the tip, a counsellor once said to my son to get up and do the most boring thing that you can think of!!! I really like the save the date cards, they are different and have a sense of humour, i think people will really like them x
MONEYSAVINGMUMOFONE AND DROPSOFJUPITER Sorry you suffer from insomnia too x#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
I really like them Feisty.
Argh I dont post bigger items internationally and one of my winning bidders was from Japan so I had to cancel the transaction and send a 2nd chance offer to someone who might not accept! Was the most expensive item so a pain in the bum!'They only had one cow!'0
