Im glad, you're doing fab with the hats! :)

Its a bit stressful here as even though I originally budgeted for it, I forgot the car tax is due on Sunday! Im about £60 short (after my ebay sales but depends if they pay straight away!!) and am trying to sell things on ebay/facebook but its all little bits really (clothes etc) and none of its selling! Ill have to have another good look tonight to see if I have anything more desirable lol but not hopeful. :/ Sort of wishing we still had the KA from years ago then we'd only be about £8 short. :rotfl:

Nanamia - sorry to hear about your doggy and glad you're feeling a bit better.
Opee - thank you for sharing the pic and many congratulations!
Trendyjenny - Glad you're having a good day, hope they keep coming for you!

Nothing much to report, not sleeping much - I think due to stress of house purchase - so don't have the energy to do much more than come home and hope I qualify for more surveys to pay for some furniture! :rotfl:

  • freespirit66-Hope your sales pick up! I actually prefer ebay then I dont have to see anyone face to face haha. If anyone picks anything up I usually send OH to the door if he's in. :o The total is at £73 on ebay at the moment but thats mainly because I had 2 collectable(ish) items (one of which my uncle gave me to sell but I get to keep the money. :D) and I dont think those items will go up before they end. (judging by previous completed listings) I have 4 things with bids on and 16 without, hoping for a bidding frenzy before they end lol!

You really are all like a dose of tonic :) thank you my lovelies. Feeling loads brighter today, morning breakfast with DD and DGD2 then the cinema this afternoon with DSiL. We went to see identity thief, it was exactly what we both needed an easy film to watch, some funny bits and very light. DSiL was so pleased with herself she was a joy to be with :) Next time we've decided we'll have some lunch out first then into the pictures and make a proper treat :) Then spent the evening with my friend that's having the treatment (she's half way through today) sorting out her paperwork. It's funny that everybody else's paperwork is so much easier than your own. Good job DH didn't know what I'd been doing- if she could only see my filing system :) Anyway one less mither for her, it's little things that get you down when you're not feeling well isn't it.

Opee your little prince is adorable and how alert does he look already! Treasure him :) xxx
Feisty hope your tummy has settled, it's tricky isn't it not wanting to pass on any germs, just seen your latest offerings on FB, you are such a talented girl :) well done you xxx
Trendy I'm delighted to hear today was a good day, soon the good days will outnumber the bad and you'll have got through it. And promise us you'll never try to struggle through in silence again. Be kind to yourself you're worth it (as the ad says) xxx
Drops of Jupiter I'm worrying about you now:( Is there anything we can do? There is usually somebody about if chatting helps. I've got everything crossed that it works out well for you both xxx
Freespirit I've had another look at the flylady thread, I could never keep up with the postings etc and although everybody was friendly enough I didn't feel "at home" but now I'm wondering if it would be worth printing off the previous weeks list and working through it. I do love their lists and the way that each room/area comes around the next week. I previously followed for a few months and it made a real difference so maybe that's my answer :)
Moneysavingmumofone would it be worth just getting 6 months tax? I know it's slightly more expensive, but this is a bad month for you with DS birthday too. I'm with you on the eBay sales, much rather pop things in the post than face somebody ha! Hope your sales pick up, I've had a few things that looked like they weren't budging but went well in the end so fingers crossed xxx
Linky are you in that tree again? Hope you are having fun :) xxx

Is anybody doing anything exciting this weekend? It's crept up on me, I can't believe it's Easter already! Have to try and do a few crafty bits, I made sweet bouquets last year so can't really get away with an egg this year. Oh the things I start. :) thinking cap on, shopping in the morning so supplies will need to be picked up then so the clock is ticking !!! xxx

  • Nanamia-We always get 6 months tax, never have enough money for 12 lol. So glad you've had such a lovely day! I hope the next half of your friends treatment whizzes past. xxx I will join you this weekend making easter creations lol I have 14 chocolate slabs to make (with only 1 silicone tray lol) as I thought it would be nicer and cheaper than eggs. Something different....now I am just wishing Id bought the blooming eggs lol! Also have to make an easter cake and DS' birthday cake. Im going to do the easter cake on Saturday though as Im babysitting my niece/nephew overnight so my niece and DS can 'help' me. Im really glad my little sister is coming on Sunday night to help me set up for the party. :)

Nana, I am so glad you and your SIL had such a lovely time :) I am sure your relationship is partly responsible for her amazing recovery!

moneysavingmumofone, CDs always seem to do better on ebay then DVDs - may be worth copying them onto your computer and biting the bullet to sell them? I hate car tax time, our mot and car tax was both due in December, as I'm sure you remember last year ended up with me being without the car due to MOT failure :(

Good luck to all you Easter crafters, I have done 0 on that front - looking forward to a long weekend in which I refuse to do any boring work (only the fun stuff ;)) I have DH off to keep me company today :)
