Time to bore you with DGDs new room, I'm really pleased with it, it's the nicest room in the house!
Moneysavingmumofone you were right, played in the room, pretended to sleep in the bed on and off then bed time, story etc tears. So she slept in my bed! She was overtired and a bit late to bed so I didn't want to push it. We are gonna try again at afternoon snooze time in the week. So who knowxxx

Happy Easter All xx
Hope you are all ok. I haven't posted on here for a while because I am soooo behind on the posts again and it makes me feel bad that I can't comment/help/laugh/sympathise etc.
I will try and catchup on posts but for now, I just wanted to say Hi xx
Nanamia - Your DGD room above looks lovely, the painting on the wall is so cute : )Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -
Happy Easter

Hello! I return a Mrs!
Had a wonderful time but missed you all - kept a sneaky peek on the thread though! So much going on but in the list that my brain has retained:
1. Congratulations Opee - Ronan is gorgeous!
2. Hanley, WOW at that snow!!!
3. Feisty, those children were so RUDE I was outraged on your behalf when saw their comments on presents! Well done for standing up to family - did a little victory shuffle for you when I read that!
4. You're all mad, Rainbow Drops are stale BEFORE you open them, never mind a few days after!
Nanamia, so sorry to hear about your dog, I was glad everyone was here to help you feel a bit better. I was thinking of you...all the way in Belize!
It was a bit of an eventful few weeks - I have apparently developed a UV allergy and spent one week in blistering agony (not very honeymoon-magical) but once I kept to the shade I was OK. Have to go and see the doctor this week to get it checked out as apparently it's something that can only get worse. They call it polymorphic light eruption in Belize, not sure whether it's the same here, only googled a little, but we'll see. (My cynicism about GPs says that they'll struggle with anything where they can't prescribe antibiotics or antidepressants!) Then OH's grandma died - and he had to find out from his crazy, selfish siblings by reading their Facebook statuses. I did however survive my wedding day with them - despite horrible SiL changing the seating arrangements so she was sat next to me and OH (putting my only family at the other end of the table!) and then complaining about everything throughout the meal! My little bubble of blissful ignorance worked a treat though and I just smiled and nodded at everything she said.
My phone was also taken in America but when I rang Orange to tell them, my upgrade date was the very next day so thankfully could just order a new one without any expense. Still grumpy though as I'm not someone who likes to change phones a lot - I need consistency as it takes me a few months to get used to them!
OH and I are trying to maintain the honeymoon bubble a little longer by locking ourselves away this weekend, but it's not so romantic...we've got weeks of washing to do! Bit sad though as not doing my big Easter party this year. Keep thinking of all my Easter supplies and crafty bits, sitting neglected upstairs! Next year will have to be even bigger than usual!
Hope you are all doing OK and getting a bit of sunshine wherever you are, physically and metaphorically!0 -
