freespirit66-Glad the woman turned up eventually, mine never did turn up and ignored my facebook messages! I know it was only £2 but she was quite stroppy about getting it as she'd commented first then doesnt turn up!! Managed to make about £60 on ebay but it all went on party supplies, petrol, gas and electric!

Nanamia-Oh I am still so shattered after DS' birthday! :rotfl:I didnt even have time to make his cake, DS popped out with OH and bought a Moshi monster cake that he loved. Did manage to make some cute dalek cakes off the top of my head that I was quite proud of lol. (mini cupcake turned upside down, 2 giant choc buttons on top then another upside down cupcake on top, bits of mikado as eyestalk/sucker/gun and sprayed gold with shimmer spray) And his Dr Who food buffet and normal food were pretty good. Your DGDs bedroom looks lovely! Bless your friend, so gruelling for her. xxx

My tooth is really hurting again so think Ill have to go to the dentists before we go away for antibiotics, cant believe its flared up again just before the holiday grrr. Better start packing to try and avoid the usual last minute rush lol, going to take some tablets then crack on! x

NANAMIA Ive still flipping got it, though it seems to be going a bit now but if i jumped up and down i would rattle its been 72 hrs now so hopefully it is burning out now, i think OMO was originally going for easter but then changed it to June, i hope she is ok. Oh god i didnt realise your friend had such a young child, oh bless her it must be so hard for her, hope it all went ok today.
MONEYSAVINGMUMOFONE Oh god people are such a pain arent they? Glad DS party went well the dalek cakes sound fab, i hope you can get to the dentist and not have to put up with the pain on your well earned holiday.

Well the first day of no SKY today and i cant believe it the main channels i watch are on the free channels anyway, there is only one programme i will not be able to watch, so paying £53 a month really was a waste (even more when i think we were paying £92 a couple of years ago!!!!!!:eek:) just got to get used to not being able to record when there is more than one programme on at the same time that i want to see Night

Trendy I'm useless at explaining:( I use the photobucket app, tap the icon at the top that looks like a piece of chain think the link that says thumbnail is the small tiny photos (I can't see them!!) and the one above is the fair size photo - it then says its been saved to my clipboard and paste it onto here! Hopefully somebody will explain it much better than me very soon How many are you on now? Do you have any plans to go back to the dr?

Freespirit blooming eck that is one persistent little !!!!!! (migraine) you've got there Yes my friend has a second husband hence her DD at 3yrs and her eldest DD at 28 yrs! Bless her it's been really difficult but 10 sessions left and the countdown has begun. Today was a better day for her, although a long day at the hospital we managed a giggle, but walking is getting really difficult and sitting down ouch. She's going in as an inpatient on Monday for her last five days of chemo she's so strong. Honestly I'm surrounded by inspirational women Hoping it'll rub off

Moneysavingmumofone bless you, sounds like DS had the best birthday your dalek cakes sound brill- and what a good idea. Blooming buyers drive you mad on eBay don't they? When it all goes smoothly its brill but sometimes!! Another friend of mine bought some lovely wallpaper from somebody on gumtree today I've never looked at it but might now I know it's much bigger in Oz than eBay (Perth anyway)

Trendy another note is definitely called for. Are you ready to go back 100% remember when you do you are expected to be "fit " and could end up covering other classes again and before you know it you are back at square one and all this healing has been undone. My dr used to say one more note when I thought I was fit to go back, time to be me first and build some coping mechanisms xxx

Hi everyone, Trendy I am left handed, and when I learned to knit (many years ago) I could knit a right handed line, then a left handed line without changing needles round, and it came out as knit a row purl a row, but I had to stop, as all the shapings and patterns were written for right handed knitting and so I got confused. And I agree with you Nanamia, another note first. I also think your friend is very brave, and I am thinking of her too.
Freespirit, surely that blistering migraine is on the wane?
I have just gt back from the north east. My dgs wanted to goto diggerland,so I tied it in with a visit to my sil and fil. Dgs and his dad went to digerland and I went with sil to visit fil in his new care home. He is 90+ and up until Christmas was fit and independent, but had a stroke/burst aneurysm and now is unable to continue at home.
The home is lovely, new airey and well staffed, but....... you know.
Anyhow, just had hot cross buns and butter- comfort food-yum.
Aching now and need to take meds. back tomorrow, xxx
