Opee, I can see your husbands point (mine is the same, hates to see all my effort going to ungrateful people
) but I understand why your so upset about it. Sending you big hugs.
I have a working laptop and I am ecstatic! Also had the brainwave that if I can re-instate laptop insurance asap for the broken one then I can get it fixed for about £7.99. Seeing as I have zero luck with laptops I think it would make good sense to have a back up incase one breaks etc.
The battery actually holds a charge on this one and the capslock lights up when in use, I feel very spoilt[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Hi everyone,
TRENDYJENNY hope you are ok and feeling a little better, i am doing the same at my drs next week, just to see if it will make a difference, i am fed up of not feeling any better! Sending you hugs
FEISTY had a look on your blog, mmm the cakes and cookies looked almost good enough to eat :rotfl: lol, if you did have a spare few mins i would love the recipe for the cookies too and i have never heard of the carrot and pineapple cake that looked lovely too. In fact you have inspired me, i am going to make a cake this week, that is my goal! I used to love baking, cardmaking, scrapbooking, growing my own veg, family history, but since my troubles i havent touched anything for over a year now, i just cant find any inspiration or inclination and i really miss my hobbies
OPEE sorry to hear you are still in pain with your SPD not much longer now!#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
So I've been MIA recently because things have been mental. My great aunt had a stroke that turned out to be a 7cm x 8cm brain tumour, she has since died, her funeral is today and we haven't gone it's too far and I had a hospital appointment today. The dog has been being sick since 2 days before Christmas he has lost so much weight we were ready to have him put to sleep last week and he has suddenly made a big turnaround, he is however on steriods now, another reason to not go to Devon for the funeral. I've become in-store trainer with Lush. Mum is meant to be having her meds reassessed but we've not been to the doctors to have this done and she is becoming increasingly more difficult and is forgetting to take her pills. Dad had tests on his heart on Christmas eve and is due for more tests on the 28th and 5th March, they think he has had a heart attack of some sort before Christmas. I am drained all the time with Charlie (the Dog) being sick I'm not sleeping well and I'm getting up early just in case, we consider it an achievement if he goes 2 days without being sick, the cold has made my raynauds seem worse and my joints hurt quite alot too.
Hope everyone is ok and that Nanamia is having a lovely time with her grand baby.
Hugs and kisses to those that need or want them!0 -

OMO - I read the first page of that thread but couldn't read anymore, I couldn't believe how spiteful she was being! I reported her too, I bet admin were inundated this morning.
Ameyturtle - You have been through it all *hugs*, hope things pick up soon.
My goal for this week (evening) is to finish my MIL birthday card as once again I've left it to the last minute!Hobnobs are like marines0 -
Freespirit I battle on an off with depression due to our infertility woes. I have to say that the only things that personally help for me are hobbies and exercise. I understand that this won't be the same for everyone, but I always find a direct link between my depression and not crafting/exercising.
Amey I am so sorry my lovely, you really have been through the ringerSending you big hugs x
Well a family friend has finally lost his battle with CancerWe lost him early this morning, such a wonderful man with a huge heart. I feel terrible as I didn't make more of an effort to see him a final time (was worried I would be in the way of family etc) and now it's too late. Feel like a bad person as part of not going was because I was scared and didn't know how to be/what to say.

Amey - you've certainly been through a horrible time lately, sending hugs and hoping this horrible run comes to an end now.
Opee, know what you mean about decreasing lists. Someone earlier (sorry can't remember who) posted about biscuits for fathers' day and I thought it was a really good idea and then remembered I don't need to buy for fathers' day anymore. It's been five years this year but it still takes me by surprise.
OMO - I didn't see the thread but I'm constantly surprised by how spiteful some people are on these forums. Thank goodness they never find their way onto this one (or the other two that I follow regularly).
I've got to stop looking at the grabbit thread - it's costing me money lol!
Love reading the posts even if I don't contribute very often - it's become a bit of a compulsion for me to check in every day and see what's been going on.It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Has anyone heard anything of JJ since we left the Let it Snow thread? I'd love to know if Turbo made it home - I keep wondering what happened. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0
