  • Love the OMO ! that really made me smile Nanamia! I hope you are having a wonderful time - guess what? we are going to get above freezing here tomorrow LOL! xxxx

thank you all for your lovely comments, you have cheered me up!

a big hug to all those suffering with depression, phobias and anxiety, such a horrible thing. We are here for you any time you want to talk and to help you through - but try and be kind to yourselves, I get so cross with myself over my anxiety and often that makes me feel worse xxxxxxxx

Oh that has made me giggle. I use to live in Navy Quarters and was informed by the other wives that if you left a packet of OMO in the window it was a sign/code that your 'old man was overseas' and you were up for a bit of naughtiness.
I have ever since been amazed by the 'sign' on windowsil's

Thank you Nanamia, I'm tired but getting there

Sorry been lurking for a while but I have been reading your posts. Hope everyone is well and had a lovely christmas.

Yes your indeed right as a army wife myself, if a box of that is in your window expect some soldiers knocking your door at night ha ha. My washing powder was always under the sink, not got the energy to deal with my husband although any other man :rotfl:

So happy for you Mrs Gigglewick that you finally are debt free. I had postnatal depression a few years back and I run up a lot of debt. It was a hard time, But we cleared it a few months ago and finally now have savings in the bank. To be able to put your head on the pillow at night and have a worry free sleep is amazing.

Nanamia hope your having a amazing time in Australia, we have friends over there living. We met them when we were posted to the same army camp few years back but they moved back home after her husband left the army. We are still in contact and me and hubby said that once he leaves the army we will use some of his payout and go for a holiday and see them again.

I have started my christmas present stash already, got some bits from the boots sale and I have set up a e savings account online to put money away. We have two holidays this year to save for but everything is in control financially and it's all covered.

Sorry I have been not very good keeping in touch with you all but 2012 was manic but looking forward to a peaceful, calm and enjoyable 2013 x

Tin of tuna. He had it with pasta and mayo for dinner yesterday. Ds had the mayo with her dinner so we ruled that out. It didn't smell funny, and he didn't say it tasted wrong.
He is very rarely ill but when he is it is so hard to see. He is like a 6ft small child. He just kept saying 'Help me mum it hurts.' Which is hard when there is nothing you can do.

Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D

Thanks for all your kind words.

We are home. :) Ds is in bed asleep. Got back to some nice post. Car Ins renewal, which wasn't as bad as it could have been, so not going to bother looking around. Not very MSE, but I just can't be bothered. I always pay it off in one lump sum , then pay what it should be monthly into a savings account. This amount pays next years ins and tax, so really I get the tax free. (well in my eyes any way).
Also got the new Lakeland catalogue. I don't really cook but love that shop. I must not order anything.(May be editing that bit later.)

Ps. I am loving the Vintage Kelloges range-

Luckily it doesn't go with my kitchen.
