Don't you just love kids. I did our family tree, and have all the family pictures going back to the 1880s. Dd loves looking at pictures and has just got them out. She doesn't know who anyone is, so I have to keep telling her.
Anyway she just said 'Don't forget I want these when you die.'

poppygirl thanks for the info about the cello cones, that is a great price. I will have a look out for them.

re the exam changes, they are definately not popular with teachers. it seems to be what can we change next for absolutely no reason. my ds1 will sit the new a levels and ds1 will be the first year doing the new gcses - if of course either change goes through

feisty well done on paying your insurance in one go:T

snugglebunny sorry to hear you are upset about your neighbours moving. i am sure they will keep in touch. are they moving far? you must have mixed emotions sad because you will miss them but happy because they will be near their family

moneysavingmumofone please look after yourself and please go the doctor's. it most defiantely is not stupid but the gp will be able to help

msgigglewick hope your OH treats you to something soon.

OMO hope you and the kids are feeling better today

I have just driven half an hour and driven through two snowy slippery estates to give my boss the money from my teaching only to get there and realise that the envelope of money was still sitting on the table at home - argh:(

I collected my boots order today and was amazed to see they had sent the whole order. there wasn't anything else I wanted so i ordered quite a few to get free postage to store but really expected them to cancel. I really don't understand boots - the first day of the sale the lynx sold out really fast but suddenly last week there were loads in stock
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Oh that has made me giggle. I use to live in Navy Quarters and was informed by the other wives that if you left a packet of OMO in the window it was a sign/code that your 'old man was overseas' and you were up for a bit of naughtiness.
I have ever since been amazed by the 'sign' on windowsil's

Thank you Nanamia, I'm tired but getting there

Isn't knowing it's coming a good thing. At least you recognise the symptoms. That's got to be a positive.
Could you go to the doctors ? I don't like going, but you may have a better doctor than me.
I know it's not easy, but don't go through it alone. xx
  • Thanks x already on tablets but get really low sometimes and think the tablet sometimes the only thing keeping me sane x

One minute feel in dark place then perhaps hour later back to normal x

Ha ha pinksteps I had no idea, I did take that photo next to a window but thankfully the blinds were down! Suits our Kinky Linky tho don't you think :) I'm sure you are very very tired:( It will be worth it tho, when your twinkle toes is back on his feet. Are you getting any help?

Ha bless your DD Linky, my Nan used to have us write our names on the bottom of things we fancied (after she'd gone) save any arguments :) bless her she said it rooted out those she saw regularly and was close too! She was a wise lady. X

Bless you bunbun you poor thing, I hope you are not going back until conditions are safer!

Trendyjenny I kno that feeling, you just have to go with the flow. But it is a good sign that you are recognising the symptoms and are able to do something about it. For me it usually means I've been over doing things, taking to much on etc time to look after yourself please. But kno you are not alone pop on here and just say hello, even at your darkest times somebody will be around :) xxx

Feisty that was a beautiful thing to say :) xxx

Have had to alter avatar slightly. I showed ds and he got a bit stressed as you couldn't see it properly when the screen was at a certain angle. :(

He has now gone back to bed with a bucket as he feels sick. Oh what joy.:)
