    Hi all

I give in and think I have to admit defeat and accept that I will never quite catch up on all the posts I have missed so will start from now, going forward iykwim.

Belated Happy Birthday to anyone I missed, and hugs to anyone that needs them.

I have bought a fair bit in the Jan sales, but did it with people and specific gifts in mind using my Xmas app (suggested on the old thread) so haven't bought "random" like I usually do. I am now about 60 per cent done and I am feeling very organised all thanks to you guys.
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D

Hope your placement went well Feisty.

    Get well soon omo.

wow bbthree can't believe you are 60 percent done for Christmas already. Well done. Wish I was, but that's my own fault as been letting birthdays take priority so that they are out of the way.

    Hope everyone else is OK.
Its like an ice rink here as the snow has started to melt then been re frozen so many times
Been putting in the overtime this week so not had much chance to look around.

Reformed shopaholic - I am pleased with how much I have got done but I will hit a bit of standstill with gifts for a while now as the other 40 percent is my two kids and hubby and so they won't get done till much nearer the time till I have saved up again.

I am completely the opposite to you, I am good at buying Xmas gifts but get so caught up that birthdays sort of creep up on me and I am really unorganised.

No snow here - v disappointing

Opee - Congrats on your engagement xx

BBTHREE thats amazing at how well you have done for your xmas presents! I am the same as you though, I am always thinking about xmas presents that birthdays just fly by and then I panic and possibly not get the right present. Something I really should work on.

But I deffo find that this thread helps me out so much!

Well all the Fererro choccies have gone. I am still working through the others though!

Happy birthday to any I have missed.

nic2075 well done on setting up your website, Can I ask what the business venture is? I would love to see your facebook page etc if you wanted to send it me in a pm.

Who's watching the NTA? need to watch something that has nothing to do with the snow, I dont mind all the snow and bother it causes, but it is nice to think about something else!
Although I can say that the snow is making me feel less guilty about reading my christmas magazines!

Both kids are in bed here. The bug is doing the rounds.
Feel really sorry for dd as she had to go in for her History exam today. She said they kept getting her water and even gave her a sweet as she looked so ill.
She doesn't think she did that well, but her teacher said at least she turned up; and she can sit the exam again in the summer if she isn't happy with the mark she gets. Such a shame as she was expected an A or A*.

Got my Dad a Gillette set today (on-line) in the Superdrug sale, so I have finally started his Christmas list.(He does love his goatie looking pristine). He was the only one(bar one) not started, so I feel better now.
I now only have my neighbour who gets the M&S biscuits, so I can't start her anyway.

Dad's Fathers Day is still red, but that's no biggy. I'll just get him some beer. That always cheers him up.
  • Omo bless x it difficult concentrating when you not well x hope she feels better soon x
