Happy Birthday CrowdPleaser! :bdaycake:
Did a bit of shopping today, first stop was Sainsburys where I got 5 rolls of wrapping paper for MIL, some pink NOEL decorations for stocking fillers, blue/green baubles for male stocking fillers and some gorgeous snowman figures (made out of hessian sack type material) for 25p each! Also managed to find a few little gifts hidden in the boxes of tatty bows etc, some bath caviar for 40p and lollipop flannel for 30p. Am really pleased with my stocking filler progress so far.Im annoyed I forgot to come on here and list what was in each stocking this year, I was really pleased at the contents of the 14 stockings!
Next we nipped to Tescos as I had to get my sisters birthday present, was hoping to get her a giant Lindt bunny but they only had small, medium and large so I got her a Large Lindt bunny £4, Gallo? wine gift set for £2.50 and mini Lindt carrot 40p. Add that to the set of 5 Lindt bears I got from Asda for 50p and she had lots of lovely goodies for a total of £7.40.They had 2 rows of shelves with half price alcohol gift sets which surprised me and my mum as they normally sell out at full price! I got 4 smirnoff gift boxes which include a miniature and chocs for £1.25 each, a Jaigermeister set for £2.50 and Famous Grouse tin with mini and keyring for £2. Got home and one of the Smirnoff boxes was missing the miniature so will have to take it back and am now short by one. Knew I should have got a spare! Oh well.
I did get the bright wooden nativity set for £2.96 as my treat.
Anyway sorry for rambling on, I cant seem to summarise things in a short paragraph. :rotfl:
Sunday at 8pm you say, I always make sure they finish at night time between 7 and 9pm, but I can only post on saturday mornings which is the annoying thing. So I have tried different nights to see if that makes a difference. Annoyingly one of the people that bought something has been deleted from ebay, so its a good job I didnt post it. It sounds like you got some great deals here. I will be putting them on my bargain hunting list. I could do with some stocking filler things started.

Moneysavingmumofone, I personally prefer the Royal Doulton - it's something that in our house would see more use too
I am pretty sure that the Royal Doulton box will be similar to this so will look lovely - if not, you can pick up some beautiful boxes in the card factory etc HTH

Evening Everyone
Happy Birthday Crowdpleaser :bdaycake:
Will need to catch up again.:o
Been a bit busy sorting finances out. I have given up now for a while. It is not doing me any good.
The thing is, they are not that bad. I have no debt and some savings. I can afford all the bills, but I am still getting in a state about it.
I keep doing the same sums and looking at what I could safe on, but there is nothing.
I am saving Morrisons stamps, doing Nectar Adpoints and putting £5 a week away for Christmas.
I also save all my £2 and 20p for our Holiday. I don't need this as I have our holiday money, but it will be useful for when we get back.
I am going to empty and sort the freezers tomorrow. There is stuff all over the place in them.:o
Hopefully this will help me feel better, as I keep having mini panic attacks and a feeling of foreboding.
I started a thread about it today on the old style money saving board. It is going to be merged with this thread later. I don't want to go about it on here, and be a complete misery guts.

Hopefully they will have some tips for me on there. I don't normally get this down. I usually like January. Hopefully this is a passing blip and I will be back to myself soon.0 -
fenna-Its very annoying when you have problem buyers on ebay, Ive had several non payers and one who sid the item hadnt arrived (faulty camera for spares/repairs, only sold for £4 something!) but looking at his feedback over half the cameras he bought didnt arrive! He was extremely rude too! Anyway, good luck with your bfuture ebay selling.
I need to get some stuff listed at the weekend.

I was wondering where you were OMO. Im sorry you're not feeling too good.
Food does seem to be creeping up and up, for example 2.5kg white potatoes were £1.95 today in Tesco! I have tried buying sacks of potatoes but they just dont keep very well in my warm flat. Even if you dont have anxiety or depression maybe it would be good to speak to a sympathetic Dr or Nurse as just talking may help. Sometimes you just need to get all the worry out. We are all here to listen whenever you need us. x
