Oh I forgot I also got 2 Baileys hot choc mugs for £2.50 each, one as a little birthday present for my sister, 1 for MIL for Mothers Day. Does anyone know how long Whisky lasts? The set I got my uncle has got a mini and keyring in it so no choc to go off and am now wondering if it will be ok until christmas to go in his whisky basket? If not will give it to him for his birthday.

Great bargains mummysavingmumofone . I'm pretty sure Whisky doesn't go off. My Dad and Oh both have opened bottle of Malt that they only drink at Christmas and special occasions. It's been open a couple of years and fine. X

Malachite is also known as the midwife stone as it is said to help ease a variety of pregnancy symptoms whilst nurturing the baby in the womb and assisting in labour.

It's a little pricey at £11 - if you were only going to make one garland, I would advise you just buy multicoloured hearts for scrapbooking - you can get 30 from ebay for £2.50

MONEYSAVINGMUMOFONE - Ooh i think i will be popping in this weekend if they still have alcohol gift sets especially the jagermeister ones, im sure the whisky will be fine, its alcohol so shouldnt go off in one year sealed.

Dont know whats wrong with me today, i dont feel ill or down but just CBA didnt wake up til late, have only managed to do washing and tumbling and dishwasher now sat watching crap on the tv, think i might make a big cup of coffee and watch something on my sky+planner, it can all wait until tomorrow:rotfl:

Thanks Feisty, I'm only very petite (but will shortly be expanding massively and then hopefully shrinking a bit after September) so I am going to go and see if I can find something of the same size to try on and see if it looks nice on my skinny teenager sized torso.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I feel tons better already. Dentist had to file my teeth as apparently I had a really big nasty ulcer that wasn't healing because my teeth kept catching it. It took less than 1 minute to file them down and I already feel so much better. Also got a prescription for mouthwash to heal the ulcer. Unbelievable how much pain I was in from something so simple! :rotfl:

Hope you get some, I was surprised to see any left! They werent with the alcohol either, they were on random end aisles! Ive found lots of stores this year have dotted their christmas sale stuff all oer the shop so easy to miss the bargains! Think of it as at least you have achieved something today and that is good enough. Be kind to yourself, it can definitely all wait until tomorrow. xx

Can I join in pweeeeze?!! Been reading all your lovely ideas for ages but thought it was about time I joined in.

I love Christmas and am always looking for a bargain for all those other occasions too.

Went into Wilkos today and they had a lot of stock reduced to 25p/50p including lots of the childrens christmas craft packs. They also had their crackers reduced to £2.50 which were originally £10.00.

Lakeland still had lots of bits reduced including some chocolate santas/reindeer/gingerbread men which are now 99p and the date on them isn't until Jan 2014. Think the original price was £3.99 or something! HTH

Talking about trees can I say a huge thankyou for my tree for hubbys birthday its absolutely gorgeous and even if he dont love it I do!! But seriously he will adore it and it fits frame perfectly Il put a pic of it framed on here for you after tuesday (he noses sometimes lol)
