  • Can't sleep, OH went for a walk to the garage at ten to midnight and still isn't back despite knowing that I find it really difficult to sleep when he's out (I hate the idea of falling asleep and then waking up to find him suddenly here). Sigh.

:rotfl: Nanamia We call him that because he is a Gangster with fingers in everything they shouldn't be in (like my pot plant). The Malone bit comes from Bugsy Malone. It's one of my favourite films. :rotfl:

Well as you can tell, I am home. Very tired and poorer than when I went. But I got my last present ( t-shirt for ds). :j
I also treated myself to the soup bowl I wanted out of Lakeland earlier in the year, a lovely musical stag snow-globe from BHS, and 3 more pashmina shawls from the Southbank Market. ( that makes 5 now :o)
The man there is lovely. They are £15 each or 2 for £25. When I was there the other weekend I bought one on the Saturday for £15. When I was there on the Sunday I had another look and he said I could have one for £10 as I had already bought one. Today he said I could have the 3 for £30. :D

On Saturday I sat in all day waiting for a PS4 game for ds from Tescos. The email said no later than The 14th, and nothing came. He was so upset. Today I found one in Asda at Thurrock for £1 less. So when the one from Tescos finally gets here it is going back.
He is now upstairs playing FIFA 14 and eating Krispy Kreme donuts.

I had a Costa coffee today and was really disappointed :( it's wasn't up to their normal standard. The girls didn't like their hot chocolate either. I am now drinking one made in my Tassimo maker and it is a lot nicer.

Really should go to bed but I am over tired and the dog was so excited to see me I feel guilty coming in, going straight to bed and leaving her again. :o

Have to be back up at 6. In some ways it's seems easier just to stay up. I have Tuesday off work, so if I'm shattered tomorrow it won't really matter.

Off to read back again. I did flick through when I first got in, but I can't seem to remember any of it. :o

    Sorry for the long post.

  • choccymoose - polar express looks and sounds amazing. The Weardale one is probably our nearest - problem is my little one is 27 :rotfl: Might have to 'borrow' one for next year. :D Must give the gammon/cola a go sometime - I have come across that before. I bet it is delish - yum yum :D

FF - hope lady wasn't just a nosey time-waster yesterday.

pigpen - hope DH parcels turns up in time. Hope you manage to find tassimo. That's the worst of this time of the year - we have to try and hiding place all over the place and then we confuse ourselves.

kiss_me_now - hope you manage to get a medical appt/meds soon. Sounds as though you have a busy week ahead. Hope you enjoy the wedding.

bunbun - sugar free marshmallows eh? Will have to investigate Every little helps so they say. :D:D

wuvvies - don't feel guilty for feeling happy with ds. I'm sure dd will come around in her own time. It's just a case of being there for them but you can't spoil your time with ds.

    pixtotts - lovely tree :T

Gettingtherequickly - pleased you enjoyed Aladdin. I can imagine Jo Brand taking a good part.

Ruth - sounds as though you had a lovely time with your friend yesterday. Great advice re spreading the cost throughout the year. Keep adding to my cross stitch xmas pics - I'm seriously running out of places to put them now.

JJ - hope the antibiotics kick in soon and do the trick for you.

mkgirl - Wonderland sounds dreadful. Only right that it should be cancelled and monies refunded.

OMO - well done on getting your last pressie. Thanks btw - all I can think about now is hot chocolate :o:D

Well that's me caught up for now I think - sorry if I have missed anyone.

    Take care everyone
