I enjoyed my trip to my parents yesterday but im absolutely
shattered today, i did realise two things about myself though

1] i don't like driving for long periods
2] i hate driving in the dark apart from being scared stiff my lane discipline is atrocious.

Well my window is finished, and if I have a spare minute while its light outside I'll take a picture. At this rate though it'll be Christmas day before that happens :rotfl::rotfl:

I have just booked my Christmas grocery shop for this Sunday afternoon. Monday is already filling up fast so I decided to go a day earlier than planned. If I can avoid the actual store except for the fresh fruit for stockings this year I will be happy. Last year I ended up in a queue for the till for 30mins waiting to be served on Christmas Eve and our A5da isn't exactly small:eek:

Also today I plan on hitting the shops and completing as much of my shopping for DD as possible. She breaks up Thursday lunchtime and I realised at 1am this morning I've hardly bought anything for her, and nothing for her stocking except choc coins! I also need to buy clothes for Christmas Day for both of us. Hoping I can get what I've spotted online in store on my first stop as I hate clothes shopping. :( DD wanted a dress from G3orge but it was out of stock by the time I had the money to buy it. :( Just hoping M@t@l@n have something similar in.

I best get a move on, going to check the vouchers board to see if there are any I can utilise today and then I'm off out. ;)

Morning, can anyone give me advice on Hollister sizing for girls, all the tees on Amazon say ladies/girls. I was looking to buy a tee for a slim 9 year old and a slim 11 hr old. I have googled and am none the wiser. Would a ladies small fit the 11 yr old? X

Edit- looking on Cafe press the Hollister girl hoody says a S fits 6-8, but the size chart says that's dress size 6-8 not age! I've seen small girls age 7-8 with small t shirts. I'm so confused

My goodness what a week that was thats just passed... and not just for me by the sounds of it. Hugs to those who need it. Mincepies to everyone!

I spent the week mostly in pain with my back and the horrid cold. Dd3 now has the bug but not overly bad.. but when she gets a temp she tends to hallucinate so shes home today just incase.

I've finally wrapped most of the pressies in the pressie cupboard, just need to work through whats in my bedroom now. (not sure which had the most in lol) then its just bits for the family but it doesn't matter if the girls see those or even help wrap them.

Got lots of cooking planned! and waiting on 3 more pressies to arrive.. got to go pick a few stocking fillers up this week but aren't important if i don't get them really. Meats all bought :D though think dd1 will be sick of the sight of turkey come next week (shes been cooking it at college since the beginning of december!)

Todays been a bit of a write off with dd3 home, wednesday is dd4's first nativity play so that will be sweet. Then two days of mad rush around and its holidays! yay!! (well not for dh he's on 24/7 call over the xmas period boo... joys of working along side hospitals i guess)

  • CHRISSYG - Glad you had a good time :), driving wise I am the complete opposite! lol.
We live in Paignton and my youngest is at school in Brixham and eldest is at Churston between Paignton and Brixham
Ah, I know it well. I am very jealous that you live down there! It's my mum and dads goal to move down there, she wont go now because of looking after gran but one day they will. They have been talking about it since before I was born. Mums been holidaying down there since she was 7. We used to be down for about 6 weeks a year, caravanning in Marldon, at a farm. Then we decided it was too cramped and now rent a house in Brixham right on the marina, so we only get 3 weeks down there a year now :( but it's beautiful and dad can see his boat from the balcony so he loves it lol.

I'm still not done tidying :'( - It wasn't that messy... but I get all ocdish when I tidy so it takes forever :( . I have been good this time though and been throwing stuff out/started a bag for cash for clothes! But I leave tomorrow, early morning, had them on the phone today the cleaner comes at 9am :| so I need to leave here about 8! So much to do so little time! AAHH!
